Cyprus ached the reach out and pull Elliot close in a hug and try to assure him that everything was ok. He wanted to apologize for all he had done to him and hope he would forgive him. He wanted to kiss his sweet little face and let him know that he cares about him and that he would protect him from anyone and everything that would judge them. But he did not because that would be inappropriate. Instead he just sat there with his head on Elliot's shoulder as they conversed. "I agree. I just wanted my own fairy tale moment where I met my soul-mate, he loved me right from the start and we went on courting, conversing on our arms in class in secret about how foolish our professor is being. Helping each other cheat at least once because we cared about each other...." Cyprus sounded, timid of sorts, as he spoke about this. It was hard to admit but he was a hopeless romantic and Elliot being an in the closet prince whom they had bad relationships and blood before ruined his plans just a wee bit.

It was extremely odd, hearing Cyprus sound so timid, so... romantic. He expected differently of him, a joke or three, some teasing that poked fun at him. But... well, Elliot had to agree - to an extent - that he wanted his own fairy tale moment as well. Even if it was not an ideal one, but one that he would not have to hide and be concerned about anyone else finding out. "That sounds... nice." Elliot responded, then added, "I was hoping that maybe I was wrong about myself and that my soulmate was a princess... we'd end up reversing the stereotypes and she'd be the one to save me from anything..." he then shook his head slightly, knowing that that would have been impossible anyway. "If my mother even catches wind of this... she'd have you tried for 'corrupting' me, and her trials are not the fairest, and I'll be guarded 24/7 and kept in Wonderland." Elliot added, with another ache in his chest.

Cyprus gave Elliot a small smile as he listened to him talk about what he had hoped for. "I could wear a dress and save you from anything but I cannot turn myself into a female." Cyprus informed him with a playful sigh. "Well, she will catch wind of this eventually and I can easily pop in and out of her containing cells to see you, even with your guards." He explained as he watched him. "But, if we are going to get caught eventually, we might as well enjoy ourselves while we can?" He spoke with a raised eyebrow. He watched Elliot, staring into his eyes.

The mental image that conjured itself in his mind was quite interesting. "I bet you'd look good in a dress, though." Elliot commented, and he glanced towards Cyprus as he spoke. "You have your tricks, but I have no doubt that she'd ensure that you get locked up in a holding cell that'll prevent your tricks and powers from working." He added, but it was a nice thought, knowing that they would still theoretically see each other... maybe. Then, he furrowed his brows slightly in confusion, as though he was not quite sure what Cyprus meant. He'd rather not get caught at all - or, just not have his mother find out, at least. His breath caught in his throat as he asked, carefully, "What do you mean..?"

Cyprus laughed as he looked at Elliot. "I would show you that image except neither you nor I have any dresses in our possession for us to use." He told him with the smallest smile. He tapped Elliot's nose. "I have fooled your mother more than once and I can fool and trick her once more." He assured him. He flushed up at Elliot's last statement before deciding to go for it. It was now or never and he didn't have anything to lose exactly because if Elliot reacted poorly they would lose their relationship but Elliot reacted well, then they might have a chance at a good secret relationship. He took a deep breath and leaned down, capturing the prince's lips in his own.

"Very true..." Elliot mused some more over the idea, rather entertained by it, then he turned to look out of the window again. Then, he scoffed slightly. He, admittedly, admired the fact that Cyprus seemed so confident that he could trick the Queen of Hearts so easily, though he was still concerned that his mother would have some of her own surprises in her deck that she had yet to play. Elliot looked back towards Cyprus, as if he was about to say something else, but he did not get the chance to as Cyprus had suddenly leaned down and kissed him. He was definitely surprised, to say the least, even letting out a soft gasp as it happened. And then, he closed his eyes, leaning slightly more into it, before he pulled back after a few moments, opening his eyes again.

Cyprus felt his heat beat fast as Elliot leaned into the kiss. He opened his eyes as well and pulled away. "I'm sorry..." He murmured gently. "I just wanted to do that before I run the risk of never being able to do it at all." He explained to him as he stepped back away from him and watched him with his golden eyes. He sat down on his bed and just waited for the explosion of anger and hatred to come from Elliot at the fact that he wasn't gay, or Cyprus was gross, or the various other scenarios that were running through his head. He tensed up, prepared.

He was, for once in his life, speechless, after Cyprus also pulled away. Conflict wrestled inside of him as he tried to figure out what he should do, or how he was meant to feel. On the one hand, he knew that he was meant to hate Cyprus for everything that he'd done, but on the other hand... well, a part of him saw the two of them really getting along like they had managed to, and seeing that turn into more. Elliot took a deep breath, glancing away for a moment, before turning a steely stare towards Cyprus, as though he was about to burst into a fit of dramatic anger. But then, a smile split across his expression instead. "Well." He walked over, before sitting himself dramatically down on the edge of Cyprus's bed, "I'm glad you did, because I don't think I would have made the first move."

Cyprus watched as Elliot was speechless for once in his life. He made note of this in the back of his brain that if wanted to shut up Elliot he just needed to kiss him, he would do this if their friendship wasn't ruined by what he had done. He watched Elliot carefully and could see the conflict wrestling in his eyes just as Elliot could probably could see the conflict that was wrestling in his own head. He knew that they shouldn't be getting along this well especially after the feud that had been occurring in their dorm room for the past couple of days. He tensed up a little bit as it looked like Elliot was going to burst into a fit. He breathed a sigh of relief however when Elliot smiled at him and walked over to flop dramatically onto his bed. For this one time, he didn't blame him. Cyprus gave a chuckle as he looked at him. "I always knew I would make the first move with my soul-mate. He seemed kind of passive in the messages we exchanged." He teased him as he looked down at him. He ran his fingers through his hair comfortingly. "What does that mean for us?" He finally spoke softly.

Elliot scoffed, though he was quite glad that his own little 'trick' had worked, having seen how Cyprus had tensed up. Then, as he sat there, he shook his head slightly. "Passive? That was only because I could let my guard down when writing to my soulmate." He insisted, though he did know that even if he hadn't been passive, he still wouldn't have made the first move - there would just be too much to consider and weigh up before he could think of it. Then, he let out a sigh, because he didn't know what it meant for the two of them now. With a shrug, Elliot said, "I'm not sure... I guess..." he paused, hundreds of possibilities and suggestions for them running through his head. It was hard to know what the best and most reasonable option would be. "...I guess we either go back to how things were... which I don't want, or... we pretend this didn't happen and we're just friends, or..." he hesitated, before finally adding, "...or we try with a relationship, and just keep it on the down-low. Keep it a secret until there's a more secure future for us." Elliot raised a questioning eyebrow, looking at Cyprus, waiting to see if he had any ideas, or agreed with one of his own.
