Cyprus stuck his tongue out at him when he called him a kitty. He went into the bathroom and grabbed a cloth to place against his cheek, returning to Elliot. “Personally I think I improved it, princey...” he spoke as he looked at him. He gave him a smile and sat on the bed, watching him as he held a cloth up to his cheek, to try and stop the bleeding he had created. You could see his bandaged arms as he did this, having done so to hid his arms to resist temptation of writing upon them anymore and wanting the magic of having a loving soul-mate back.

He scrunched his nose up, in clear disagreement. "You would say that." Elliot said, then he put the shirt back with his other shirts, and added, "You could've picked a cheaper shirt." He went back to his bed to sit on it again, and looked over to Cyprus, and noticed his bandaged arms. Frowning slightly in concern - though he tried not to show that he was concerned - he checked his own arms, as if to make sure that he hadn't been hurt on his arms, sure that it would show up on his own arms as well. He didn't, however, see anything - the ink from the comversation when he'd stormed off earlier washed off, since he'd had a shower since then - so he glanced back towards Cyprus. "What happened to your arms?" He asked, unable to stop himself from asking.

Cyprus looked at him and laughed. "You, of course, would not get my taste level..." He told him with a chuckle. "If I did it to a cheaper shirt it wouldn't have had the same impact as it did." He added as he laid down. He looked over at Elliot as he asked about his arms. He glanced down at his arms before back at him and said "Nothing. Just trying out a new fashion statement." He informed him with a purr. "Why? Don't get it..." He teased him.

"What!? I totally get others' taste levels... if they're on the same level as mine. Case in point, my outfit now." Elliot stood up, and did a quick spin to show off his current outfit, knowing that he looked good in the jeans-t-shirt-and-leather-jacket combo. Then, he scoffed at Cyprus's answer, in disbelief. "It looks like you got yourself burnt or something all over your arms." Elliot commented. As much as he felt that something had shattered between him and his soulmate, he wouldn't want to be unable to communicate with him... even if it took some time before they were back to the level that they had been on before.

Cyprus low-key admired him as he spun around. "You do look good in a leather jacket." He commented. "Something about the fact that you are suppose to be a prince yet daring enough to wear a leather jacket is attractive..." He informed him as he looked at him. He stretched out. He didn't want to tell him the real answer for him wearing bandages because he didn't want him to know how badly it affect him that they could not be the same as they were. "It's a fashion statement." He spoke firmly.

He had been expecting to get teased, but he instead blushed at the compliments, and then he attempted to hide the fact that he was blushing by averting his gaze down towards the floor and putting his hands up to his cheeks to cover them. Elliot was not sure how he felt about it... he was warm, and happy, but also conflicted. Of course he still had all his concerns, and was scared of what would happen if word got out about them (which he wouldn't admit, but he supposed it had been made obvious from his outburst earlier), but he also didn't want to end up being miserable. "Thank you..." Elliot eventually said, his tone softer than usual. Then, he looked up, the blush having finally faded. "I see. I..." he paused, then shook his head slightly as if to silently say 'nevermind'. He glanced towards the large window, and then went over to it, opening it up widely, before perching himself on the windowsill, so that he could look outside, at the stars, as it got steadily darker.

Cyprus noticed Elliot smiled and blushed as he gave him a compliment and he blushed and turned away as well. He sighed softly and spoke "That's not the real reason." He explained to him. He didn't want him to laugh but he knew that he should know. "I covered up my arms because I didn't want to be tempted to write any messages to my soul-mate and expect the same responses back that I once got before this all happened." He explained to him as he approached him by the window. He looked out the window as well. "The stars look nice tonight..." He murmured.

He looked over to Cyprus as he explained the real reason for covering up his arms, and something inside of him ached slightly again. "Well... neither do I. I... I want things to be as straightforward as I thought it would be, but it's so much more complicated than that." Elliot replied, hestiantly. Then, he looked away. No. He was not going to expose his vulnerability again in front of Cyprus. He couldn't do that. He just couldn't.
He hummed in agreement at the comment about the stars, looking back up towards the sky, then Elliot added, "I love to stargaze when I'm having a sleepless night, or when I feel confused or overwhelmed... but you already knew that." He tapped his arm, referring to him having written about it at somepoint in the past. "Wonderlandian nights are a bit more interesting, though."

Cyprus sighed as he looked at him. "I know, but we are used to the wonderland atmosphere so nothing is truly simple and straight-forward for us is it? It always needs to be complicated..." He spoke as he watched the stars, placing his head on the boy's shoulder from behind to look up at him. "The stars are quite fascinating but I much enjoy watching the phases of the moon, it reminds me that time is passing and that soon everything will be alright." He informed him.

He sighed inwardly. "No... but anything like that should be the norm for us. It'll be nice to have something that is not so complicated, though... just once." Elliot admitted, then he jumped in surprise when Cyprus put his head on his shoulder, tensing up a little, and he seemed like he was going to move away, before changing his mind and relaxing. "At least that is not so complicated... the stars... the moon..." Elliot murmured, as he kept his gaze up towards the sky, searching out the various constellations that could be seen from the window, silently connecting them in his head. He was not too sure if everything would be alright, but... maybe, if given time, that could change.
