Eric slowly walked into the elevator and gently held Echo closer "don't worry..." He whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

Calvin got the bags then walked back over and into the elevator, pressing the button and gently wrapping one of his arms around Kita's waist "I'm glad you're trusting me." He whispered softly, looking at the doors as they closed then opened a few moments later after they had went down. Calvin was tackled by a small boy, probably only seven or so "Cal!" the little boy shrieked happily.

Nathan paused, looking at her for a moment "you did?" He asked before blushing slightly "oops... I guess I wasn't paying attention." He said sheepishly then turned away and ordered a coffee, paying for it before walking over to Cinder quickly, handing her back the change and sliding into the booth beside her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders gently.

Jonathan walked away into the woods and sat down against a tree, silently staring off into the distance before slowly falling into a light sleep.

Leo looked up at her and nodded "yeah.." He mumbled, lying to her, his whole body hurt from being flung into Arya's side.

Hades picked her up and walked her away from the cap a bit, setting her down and holding onto her shoulders "no more of that, we're a team, I want us to act like one.. all fighting does is upset everyone." He whispered then sighed and looked away for a moment before pulling her into a hug "she could kill you so easily.. so please don't fight her like that again... you the only thing keeping me sane at this point."

Echo heard a strange voice and opened her eyes slightly. "Where... are we?" she asked slowly before closing her eyes again. It was bright and it gave her a headache. She buried her head into Eric's arm, taking a few shallow breaths.

Kita gave Calvin a small smile and pressed her shoulder to his. Suddenly, someone flew into the elevator and Kita almost jumped out of her skin. The girl leaped away as a boy charged into the small space and it took her a few seconds to compose herself again. Kita took a few deep breaths and calmed down once realizing it was only a child. Oh. Thank goodness. . she thought and walked back to Calvin's side.

Cinder laughed at him and shook her head. She took the extra change from him and rested her head on his shoulder. "You think you're going to get bored staying at the agency? Now that you're off that one mission? I mean, I guess messing with the other agents provides some enjoyment. But still, it's not quite the same adrenaline rush."

Scarlet nodded slowly. "Okay. Let me know if it starts to feel worse, alright?" she looked away from him, staring into the fire. "Hopefully the pain medication will kick in and you'll feel a bit less sore." The girl's voice was quiet as she thought about what Marvin had said. Those types of comments always seemed to make her shut down mentally.

Marvin went stiff as Hades picked her up. "I've told you how I feel about this." she hissed and tried to jump away as he set her down. However, he held her by her shoulders and she stared right back up at him, obviously annoyed. "She started it." Marvin grumbled and looked away from him. She raised an eyebrow when Hades hugged her. "Hades. I'm fine. I'm not defenseless." she stated, her voice more gentle. Marvin rested her head on his shoulder, letting him hug her. "You know we've been at each other's throats since we were young."

Eric looked down at her "somewhere safe I hope." He whispered and kissed her forehead, slowly walking out of the elevator with the rest of his team, someone rushed up and looked at Echo "we can take care of her." The lady said to him, turning and gesturing for some other people to bring the stretcher over, Eric watched then hesitated. He looked to Calvin who nodded and gave him a reassuring smile, Eric nodded and gently rested Echo on the stretcher, walking beside her and holding her hand as they pushed the stretcher somewhere.

Calvin chuckled and picked the boy up "Samuel." He said softly and rested him on his hip, wrapping his free arm around Kita "come on." He said softly then stopped right outside the elevator, looking at Eric and reassuring him it was okay now. He then looked at someone else as they offered to show them to a room for rest, he smiled at the person then lead Kita behind the person, opening the door to the room and letting her in first. He gently put Samuel down and watched as he ran off "go on in, Kita." He said softly.

Nathan looked down at her as he listened "I will get bored after a bit, I'm just hoping they send me and you out on missions again like they used to, I miss those days." He said softly and rested his head against hers, letting out a soft sigh.

Hades sniffled slightly "well I'm not." He whispered, tears ran down his face, but luckily no one could see "I know you two have.." He said, his voice cracking slightly "she's gotten more powerful and I... I just don't want to lose you like I've lost everyone else." He whispered, burying his face in her shoulder "it scares me when two to fight, I worry about losing you and being alone again."

Echo stiffened when she heard even more unfamiliar voices and did her best to focus on her surroundings. She felt incredibly vulnerable and glanced at Eric for a moment. He seemed okay. She'd have to go off of that for now. Echo studied the people surrounding her and then back to Eric. "Where are we going?" she whispered before closing her eyes again.

Kita followed after Calvin, finding it cute with how he handled the boy. Awwwww. She thought and smiled. As they walked, she studied the facility, watching as people darted about while performing various tasks. Eventually, they reached a door and Kita paused at the doorway. Slowly, she stepped inside, studying the room carefully. She looked like a skittish deer in a way with how she flicked her ears and tucked her tails around her legs.

Cinder smiled at the thought. "Yes. I'd love that. I'm anxious to get back out. I'll have to go pester them when we get back. Maybe I can convince Jon to finally let me go. I'm sure I'm driving him crazy with all the mischief I've been causing." she smirked and rubbed her arm.

Scarlet flinched when Leo suddenly hugged her and stared down at him, un-amused at first. "I'm... okay..." she said slowly. "You know how I feel about that type of stuff though. Just give me a few minutes. I'll be fine." Scarlet stated in a more monotone voice. "She'll get what's coming for her."

Marvin's eyes widened when she thought she heard Hades' voice crack. "Don't get emotional on me. You're not going to lose me that easily. Nothing bad is going to happen. You have nothing to worry about." She held still as Hades buried his face into her shoulder and sighed. "I'm sorry if it scares you. But, have you met me? I'm the most stubborn person you've ever met. It would take more than Scarlet to put me in the ground." she placed her hands on her hips, shifting her weight to one foot. "You should probably get back to your tent to rest. I'll keep watch again."

Eric brushed her hair away from her face gently "to get you fixed up." He whispered and smiled down at her gently, walking through the doors with her quickly as they walked into another room "may I stay?" He asked, looking at the people around the room "of course, if it'll make her feel more comfortable." A nice lady told him and smiled gently at him.

Calvin watched her then gently pulled her into the room, closing the door behind them "you're okay here, we're safe for now." He told her, pulling her close and gently kissing her forehead before moving away slowly "I promise you that much." He added, walking around and examining the room.

Hades slowly pulled away and let out a half laugh half sob "just don't get yourself killed." He said softly then wiped the tears that ran down his face away "I guess it's a little late for me to not get emotional, huh?" He asked and chuckled softly, wiping the rest of the tears away before walking into his tent and laying down, staring blankly up at the ceiling of the tent.

Echo nodded her head softly and blinked several times as the lights blared into her face. Everything was bright and distant. Her head throbbed and the sound of her own heart blasted into her ears. More commotion happened and she vaguely heard everyone shouting around her. Cold hands grasped her abdomen as they examined the stitching Jon had done and she flinched away. She felt incredibly vulnerable and desperately wanted to run away from everything. She didn't trust any of these people. More voices shouted at her and she felt someone stab her arm with a needle. Everything was happening so fast. A mask was placed over her mouth and nose for oxygen and Echo felt herself begin to grow panicked. Taking a few deep breaths, she managed to hold still as the various medical personnel worked. Suddenly, it was hard to breathe. It felt like a large weight had been rested on her chest and Echo began gasping for air. And then, darkness. The last thing she heard was the steady beep of a heart monitor followed by someone jumping onto her chest to do compressions.

Kita looked back at Calvin and nodded slowly. "Okay." she said quietly and rested her head on his shoulder, hugging him back. "Who was that boy that greeted us at the elevator?" she asked curiously as he stepped away. "You're pretty good with kids." she admitted and gave him a small smile.

Cinder nodded. "I'll hold you to that." she stated and breathed a small sigh. A waiter brought over their coffee and Cinder thanked her before passing Nathan his cup. "Here's the coffee you made me pay for." she teased.

Scarlet went to say something as Leo walked away but paused. Once again, her terrible people skills were showing through. "Leo I-. I'm sorry I didn't-" she continued to trip over herself before going silent. He most likely needed to be alone for a bit. However, she also didn't want him getting hurt again. She still didn't know what was going on with him and it worried her. Slowly, she stood up and began to walk after Leo. "Hey." she said quietly and walked up next to him. "I'm really sorry. I... I shouldn't have snapped at you like that." She stared at her hands as she spoke, fidgeting with her sleeves.

Marvin shook her head. "No worries. I won't get myself killed. And yes. Yes it is too late." she stated and rolled her eyes. The girl followed after Hades and sat down close to the fire, warming her hands. Taking a cloth, she wiped her face off before staring blankly into the fire. Everyone was off on their own and she was alone.

Eric gently played with her hair, leaning down and kissing her forehead gently "it's okay." He whispered "we'll be okay.... you'll be okay." He whispered softly, smoothing her hair back gently before looking up and around the room as he heard the shouts. He bit his lip then looked down at Echo again "Echo?" He asked quickly and looked at her for a few seconds "Echo!" He said louder and grabbed her hand, not feeling her squeeze his hand back "no!" He shouted then looked at the people around "you gotta help her, do something!" He soon went into hysteria "help her!" He shouted, still yelling and screaming as to large guys dragged him out of the room "help her.." He cried.

Calvin smiled over at her "Samuel?" He asked and soon shook his head "just my favorite little man in this whole place, his parents abandoned him when he was little and thank God he ended up near HQ in the city, he was so tiny." he told her, sitting down on his bed "he got attached to me before I was captured by the villains... I guess he really missed me." He chuckled slightly. His cheeks turned a light shade of pink once she said he was good with kids "yeah, I guess I am." He said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck.

He asked and tilted his head, his vison was slightly blurred and everything sounded muffled extremely "I couldn't hear what you said.." He spoke quietly and slightly nervously "and.. I can't really see too well." His hands went up to his hair "I don't know what's wrong.."

Echo - Loner - Female - Can shoot hexes - Tags: Eric

Flashes of the past darted through her head. There was screaming and blood. Echo wanted to run away from all of it. She tried to plug her ears and run but was frozen in place. Her little sister screamed for help, staring at her. And then, gun shots. Echo did her best to look away, crouching down and put her head in her hands. All these things she never wanted to re-live. Her best friend, killed by a hero while on a mission before Echo could get to her. Echo screamed in agony as she watched everything unfold. She prayed it would be over soon. "Eric!" she screamed, a few tears falling down her face. All she could see was a black abyss in front of her. It was endless.

A few moments later, her eyes opened and she steadily started breathing again. Light flooded into her eyes but she felt incredibly drowsy. It took her a moment to figure out what was going on. Where was she? Where was her team. She glanced around but only saw unfamiliar faces. Echo went to sit up but was halted by the hand of a nurse. Upon closer examination, Echo realized she was hooked up to what felt like a thousand different monitors. Her stomach was wrapped and her head felt foggy. There was an I.V. in her arm and Eric wasn't anywhere to be found. She pulled at the oxygen mask over her face but was once again halted.
"Take it easy. You just woke up from surgery. Your friend is outside. Please stay still so you don't hurt yourself." the nurse stated calmly. Echo rested her head on the pillow of her bed, too drowsy to do anything else. The nurse walked over to her I.V. and seemed to push more medication. She immediately felt herself grow more tired and Echo let her hands rest at her side.
"I'll go get your boyfriend." the nurse stated and left the room.

Kita tilted her head and smiled before walking to sit next to Calvin. "Aw. That's really sweet. I'm glad he's okay." she said quietly and rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm sure he's relieved you're back." She went quiet and sat up. "What are they going to do with us? Echo and Eric are enemies and I'm just a lab experiment." she didn't mean to let the last part slip out and bit her lip. "I mean. Loner." she added quickly and pinned her ears.

Scarlet studied Leo for a moment before walking closer to him and grabbing his arm in case he needed support. "Let's go back to camp. Something isn't right." she said quietly and began leading him back to their camp. What in the world could be wrong with him? Maybe internal bleeding? It was possible. Scarlet looked around for Jon before she began calling for him. "Jon?!" she barked and scanned the trees for their leader. "Something isn't right with Leo? Can you give me a hand?" Scarlet was doing her best to not let them see how anxious she actually was. However, she was beyond worried for her friend. The girl stuck close to Leo as she led him to a log so he could sit down. "Don't move." she said firmly.
