aoi took one look at the two story tree and gasped softly, seeing that parts of the tree were covered in brier thorns. "woah, this looks intense, i like it!" aoi said, stepping up to the challenge. her shoulder and leg were a bit sore, but she needed to keep her limbs moving to keep them from getting worse. "hey, how's your foot? its not too sore is it? you can sit down if it is, im sure kisa wouldnt mind." aoi said as she looked up again at the tree. she saw that there was a bare path straight up to the leaves, but it was a twisted path. "ill grab the apples and ill come back down when i get the bucket filled, okay? i think she wants you here to make sure i dont fall and break something." aoi said as she rubbed the back of her neck and then began to climb the tree with the bucket in her teeth. ten minutes later, she climbed back down with the full basket of apples. "there we go, it took me a few to find the apples that didnt have any other colors on them but red. these apples are huge!" aoi said as she took one out of the bucket and held it up for alessa to see. the apple was the size of a softball, maybe a bit bigger. "ready to head back inside?" aoi asked as she then put the apple back in the basket and walked through the door.

Alessa didn't speak at all, as she just wasn't in the mood for talking. She just nodded as she watched Aoi. Alessa didn't sit, as she didn't want to appear weak for babying her foot too much. That was the impression she got from Kisa. She silently nodded as she walked back with Aoi, part of her wanting to take a few apples and eat them. She was getting a bit hungry now and the temptation was strong.

"whoa, you grabbed the big ones! alright, one more thing and then ill have to take a look at your bandages. go through this door here and dig up some vegetables. some of them are in the ground, and some of them are on a vine or a bush. i want you to grab as many different ones as you can. if any of them look like your favorites, you can get more than one." kisa said as she pointed to a door on the opposite side of the kitchen, also leading outside. aoi was slightly confused as why they needed veggies, but she didnt let her mind wander too long as her stomach grumbled. " so that was what the other basket was for..." aoi said as kisa nodded, giving a smile as she began to work with the apples.

[Boomer]

Alessa simply nodded a little as she headed outside with the basket. She got on her knees to dig up the vegetables. Alessa used her telekinesis to pick a few things from the vines and bushes while she worked on the ground. It didn't take a lot of mental control to do this. Soon enough, Alessa filled up the basket with a bit of everything. Alessa brought it inside and set the basket on the counter.

kisa took only a minute to slice the apples and core them, just using two different knives. the chopping knife was used to chop the apples into slices, and then the short paring knife was used to cut the cores out of the slices. she was talented with the knife to do all of the apples in such little time. aoi was amazed by it as alessa came back inside. "thats a lot of veggies! are those what i think those are?..." aoi asked as she spotted these dark red plum sized cherry like fruit that was lingering inside of the basket. kisa finished with the apples and wiped her hands before taking a look. "ah, i was wondering where aura grew those. we need to make sure these dont bust when we take the the other things out." kisa stated as she took the basket gently as she was careful taking them out of the basket. "ill tell you what these are after we clean your paw." kisa said as she laid them to the side and kept the other veggies in the basket. "im going to teach you how to do this so when your paw gets dirty, you can dress it yourself, deal?" kisa said as she pointed to alessa's foot. "so i wont have to do it. i know you trust yourself above all." she added with a smile and placed a pair of scissors on the table along with a small dish filled with a cotton sheet and some clear liquid. "okay, first you need to take the old bandages off using those scissors. be careful with them, cause they're sharp." kisa stated as she pulled up a chair for the girl.

Alessa wasn't quite sure what the strange fruit was, but she didn't question it. She figured it wasn't poisonous, so she wasn't going to worry about it too much. Alessa seemed a bit uneasy about having to change her bandages. She wasn't really comfortable about anything medical, especially blood and wounds. She slowly sat in the chair and looked to the bandages on her foot. Alessa slowly picked up the scissors and carefully cut away the bandages. Alessa set the scissors back on the table and shut her eyes, not wanting to see any blood.

"alright, nice cutting. now since i know you dont like blood, im going to clean your paw and do the next part." kisa said as she grabbed a small washcloth and some water. "ready?" she asked as she gently took her paw in her claws and began to wash the girl's paw. she held on firmly, but when the girl flinched, she eased up and wiped a little more gently. "okay, thats better. now this is going to be cold and its going to tickle a bit." kisa said as she took the dish and brought it up to her paw. "this stuff is called oxigen peroxide. its used to clean wounds without burning." kisa said as she held her foot to the dish for a few moments before taking it out and dried off her paw. with that, she took out the bandages and held the gauze to her paw and gave her the bandage. "okay, i want you to wrap it now." kisa said as she smiled a bit, seeing how she would wrap it.

Alessa kept her eyes shut as Kisa cleaned up her foot. She winced a little as the closer Kisa got to the stitches, the more sensitive it was. Alessa's eyes shot open the moment Kisa mentioned 'burning'. Her quickest episode triggers were when she saw or heard any words that associated with fire and burns. Alessa was okay with 'heat', as she thought of it more as warmth than fire. Not wanting to be sedated again, Alessa pinched her thigh quite harshly until she could feel warm, sticky blood on her paw. Alessa's eyes flashed a bit as she was trying not to lose control of her power. Once the smell of blood hit her nose, it broke her focus. She panted softly as she stared at the ceiling.

kisa prepared herself as she knew she just slipped, but she too was curious with the different things she had learned about her. yep, part of her did it on purpose. she wanted to do this test while she was distracted to see if she had a counter trigger, and she thinks she just found it. "okay, okay. its alright. we'll get you cleaned up. thats enough training for today. thats good." kisa said as she gulped, then finished the bandage and then cleaned up her leg. "now, it seems like you do have a counter trigger. what that is, is a way you can snap out of an episode." kisa explained. she lowered her head and took a deep breath before looking back up. "im sorry for making you snap. its hard to remember sometimes. but some good came out of it." kisa said as she then gave the girl some apples. "your free to eat and do what you like for the rest of the day." kisa said as she placed a paw on the girl's shoulder. with that, she finished up the veggies and placed them on the table for the girls.

Alessa shut her eyes once more as she didn't want to see the blood. She felt some pain and soreness on her thigh, but it was better than a shot of Valium in the thigh. Alessa slowly stood up, shakily setting the apples on the table. She went to the sink and scrubbed her paws to clean off the blood. Alessa carefully dried off her paws, then slightly dipped her head. "I-I'm sorry..." she said quietly. She didn't know any other way to stop herself from entering an episode.
