kisa grinned as she saw the pup sit at the table rather than stand at one of the legs as she saw her do previously. kisa then proceeded to fix aoi's and alessa's plate, making sure a little of everything made it on there. she sat each plate down along with empty glasses in front of the girls as soon as they sat down. "would you like to join us for breakfast, mary?" kisa asked as she pulled back a seat for herself and then fixed her own plate. she put honey butter on her buiscuit, poured a glass of orange juice, and took a few of the assorted arrangement's berry rods. she loved fruit that were shaped like flowers. "takeo did a great job on these flower shaped fruit. im glad he learned something from me." kisa said as she laughed.

[Boomer]

"Oh, I already ate." said Mary sheepishly, "But thank you for the offer. I actually should get going." She looked to her watch and nodded a little. "I'll see you guys later." she said, grabbing her things and heading out the door. Alessa glanced from Aoi to Kisa, silently observing her as she made their plates. She flicked her tail a little as she waited for the others to start eating.

kisa watched as mary left, smiling as she did so. honestly, she needed to hurry up with breakfast so she could head on to the hospital. "alright girls, we have to be ready to leave by nine, so with that, breakfast is served." kisa announced, seeing aoi pick up her silverware before eating. with that, kisa began to eat as well after she took her medicine. kisa was a relatively quick eater, but she did so with grace to make up for it. "this is good..." aoi said as she began to eat the different foods, admiring the different tastes rather than eating most of the same thing at the orphanage. kisa smiled and nodded in agreement but kept on eating.

[Boomer]

Alessa had watched Mary pack up and go, flicking her tail a little. She turned back to the others and began to eat once the others ate. Alessa inhaled her food, fearing it would be taken from her if she didn't eat fast enough. Alessa would also growl if she thought anyone would take her food or got too close to her. After she finished eating, she looked up at Kisa. "Where are we going?" she asked quietly, tilting her head a little.

"we'll work on trying to eat a little slower later...i fear that one day, your going to get hurt doing that. but anyway, we're going to the hospital to check on mikoto, and then we're going to the training field. this place is big enough for aoi to practice her powers and its shaded enough to keep her eye from being overwhelmed. we dont want anything to happen to the one she has that can see." kisa stated as she gave a sigh. "there, we will meet several folks who are more like you two. i think you should meet them." she added as she finished her breakfast, downed her juice, and then stood to wash dishes.

[Boomer]

Alessa felt her heart stop and her stomach get tense. She wasn't very social and she was painfully shy around strangers. She didn't want to go and meet more people like her. "I-I d-don't feel so well..." she said, pinning her ears back. Alessa had hoped that perhaps Kisa would let her rest up; she didn't know how the bear would react to her statement. Alessa usually didn't fake being ill, but the thought of going to the hospital on top of going to a strange place with lots of strangers made her want to throw up.

kisa tilted her head slightly as her ears twitched. why did she sound slightly different? "hm, by the way that sounded, your either too sick not to go to the hospital, or i heard something i hope i just didnt hear." kisa said sternly, knowing that by the girl's voice combined with the slight face expression, that the girl was lying to keep from doing something she didnt want to do. kisa walked up to her, then sat on one of her knees. "its not that bad, your just making it seem bad. there are only three people living there, and one of them just happens to still be at the hospital." kisa said softly, placing a strong but gentle paw on the girl's shoulder. "besides, if you really are sick, you'll feel better between the hospital and the training grounds. Ms. Aura has a power that can help heal creatures." kisa added, standing back up and finished washing the dishes.

[Boomer]

Alessa's face turned pale as she stood there, trembling a bit as she was touched. She felt herself holding her breath as Kisa got back up to do the dishes. She saw her vision go black and she stumbled backwards, trying to grab onto a chair before going down. Her extreme anxiety had gotten the best of her. Alessa woke up about thirty seconds later, her eyes fluttering open as she stared at the ceiling. Out of pure fear of getting in trouble, Alessa stood up and quickly moved to her room. She was dizzy from getting up, but she got changed into a dress and knee socks. Alessa held tightly onto Scarlett as she made herself ready to leave the house. She went downstairs and stood like a statue by the door, no longer choosing to fight or argue about going.

kisa stopped what she was doing as she heard a faint thud, but she didnt turn around, as she knew what had happened. some people say that when things happen like that, its encouraged to just let it play out. additional stress could make things worse. kisa began to think of what things happened when her mother was upset with her, let alone someone as close as a stranger. a sigh of relief was released out of her nose as she heard the girl get back up and run to her room. it was a control mechanism. abuse was used to make the girl do as they pleased. kisa knew that aoi was worried, but kisa reasured her by telling her to get dressed. after kisa finished getting ready, she got the car ready for another person to sit in the passenger seat in the front. "you girls sit in the back so mikoto can sit up here." kisa said as she tried to distance herself from alessa, making sure that she knew that she wouldnt be approached. kisa was nervous as to what news mikoto had, from what the doctor told her earlier during the week. if worse comes to worse, he wouldnt be able to speak anymore. alas, kisa knew that she would take care of mikoto and keep him in the classes that helps him learn how to communicate without a voice.

Alessa went outside and got into the car, still staying silent. She still feared that she might be in trouble, so she didn't say anything, should that anger Kisa. Alessa had trained herself not to move for long periods of time; it could be quite eerie to observe as the girl would barely blink or breathe. It was something she taught herself when she was little; the less she cried and squirmed as she was hit, the quicker her mother would give up and leave her alone. Alessa felt anxiety and some fear internally as she buckled herself in. She squeezed tightly onto Scarlett as she fixed her gaze to the floor.
