"hm... this door, it opens from the outside, but locks from the inside. i wonder if that means she is awake, though i dont hear her in there." kisa stated as she began to think of why the door would be locked. "i wonder what she's doing in there. ill give her one hour to come out and then im breaking in there." kisa said sternly, knowing two reasons for the locked door. something could be wrong, or she wants to be left alone. "ill check on her after i finish the kitchen wall repairs. " kisa said as she nodded, then walked back to the jeep to take out the cement mix. "this stuff will fix the cracks in no time." kisa said as she brought the small bag of cement mix into the kitchen an put it on the counter.

[Boomer]

Mary nodded, hoping that Aoi just wanted some time to herself. She listlessly wandered down the hallways, not sure if she should return home or stick around for a while. She eventually ended up in the kitchen and sat as Kisa began to fix the walls. Alessa limped into the kitchen and began to clean her dishes, even though Mrs. Potter told her she didn't have to, as it was another child's chore for the day. Alessa liked cleaning dishes, as it was the one thing she could do without her mother attempting to hurt her.

kisa smiled as the little pup helped with the dishes, knowing there was something she did here that she seemed to enjoy. "there we go, that just about does it. just need all of it to dry and we can paint them." kisa said, wiping a hand across her forehead. bears didnt sweat, but it did keep the fur out of her eyes a little better. "now to go fetch that paperwork from yesterday." kisa said to herself, not forgetting the guardian's guide. after she walked to the jeep, she spotted something at the corner of her eye, a white speck on top of the roof. with a sigh, she took the papers to the kitchen and laid them down in front of mary. "heres the papers for the Guardian's Guide. here, it would explain how some of the program works and what to do during emergencies. make sure you use your current, up to date information and let me know if any of it changes." she told her, making sure she knew how the guardians where.

[Boomer]

Mary looked over the paperwork, making sure to read every word before putting her information on the pages. She looked to Kisa with confusion in her eyes. "May I ask why you and Takeo are 'rivals', as I believe he called it?" she asked. Alessa finished cleaning her dishes, then carefully dried her paws. She left the kitchen, figuring that she wasn't supposed to be listening in on an adult conversation.

"heh, he really calls us rivals? that block head. were not really rivals so to speak, but we...hm" kisa wondered to herself how to explain the relationship between her and takeo. "uh, we are competitive on our different ideas on how to save special abilities. we both want to save them, but we have different ideals and things." she said, satisfied with how it sounded. "oh, and we're technically siblings. we were fostered by a huge family, so we all call eachother brother and sister when were in the same age group."

[Boomer]

Mary was a little surprised to hear that they were foster siblings; she wouldn't have every guessed that part of their relationship. She flicked her tail as she had a lot of questions. "How is his method different from your method?" she asked. Mary was simply trying to understand how their lives and their ideas helped kids like Alessa and Aoi. Mary liked that Kisa medically supported these kids; she felt that compassionate health care was important for those with powers and abilities.

"well, im more into charity, and he is more into business. the creatures he takes in helps him in the business, and helps them get jobs according to their abilities. you know, entertainment, crime stoppers, merchants. I on the other hand, use my business to help promote creatures with super abilities. they dont need to work if they dont have to, but i keep enough staff at the places i run to support the funds for me to relocate, medicate, and help those in need such as helping with power control. one encourages the use of powers in their advantage, the other uses their own will to help control to promote normal life." kisa explained as she moved her hands during the explaination. she sometimes got carried away.

[Boomer]

Things were starting to make more sense for Mary. She liked that Takeo would help those with powers and abilities find work and contribute to society. She also liked that Kisa medically helped these people, as she was one of the few doctors that didn't seem to want to exploit them; Mary liked that Kis wanted to help people control their powers. "I see..." she murmured, "You both do so much to help others. I can see the positives of both sides."

"yeah, but he is known to push people beyond their limits in attempt to make someone's powers stronger. sometimes i worry he's pushing them too hard all the time. " kisa said as she shook her head. "he just never knows when to quit, welp, i need to check on aoi, even though i have a good feeling she's not in the room." kisa said as she walked upstairs, trying the door now, but it was still locked. a small grumble escaped the bear's teeth as she then sighed, walking back outside the door and looked up.

Mary nodded a little, not quite liking that he pushed people to their limits. Alessa couldn't really do well with that type of thinking. She stood up to accompany Kisa and followed her. As they got to Aoi's room, she flicked her tail as the door was still locked. Mrs. Potter came down the hallway and looked to the two. "Is something the matter?" she asked. "We wanted to check up on Aoi, but the door is locked." said Mary. Mrs. Potter nodded as she used a key to unlock the door; she had the same type of lock for everyone's bedroom doors.
