"keep in mind, that this necklace only works if you have it touching you in some way, and when you are truely in danger, it can amplify your powers to help you out of a situation. it wont cancel your powers, just make it easier to get it to do what you want it to do. im putting you in charge of giving aoi her beads and medicine, since you are with her when im gone. she needs to take one candy a day to help her regain strength. can you remember that?" aoi asked, kneeling down to the pup and giving her a bottle and the beads. after she made sure of everything in the room, she locked the door behind her and shut off the lights. on the way out, she took the xray print and took a look before heading to the jeep with aoi in her arms. "hm... seems like everything is all clear" kisa stated before putting it in a folder at the door and grinned. "her light weight only picked up at the surface of her pads." kisa added as she closed the door of the jeep and cranked the vehicle.

Alessa looked at the necklace once more before tying it around Scarlett for safe keeping. She then looked at the bottle and took it gingerly, examining its contents. Finally Alessa grabbed the beads and limped back outside. Mary helped guide her through the ER; she was relieved that there wasn't any remaining glass in her foot. Once Mary got Alessa situated, she got into the front seat and looked to Kisa. "Do you think it'd be a wise idea to possibly foster the girls?" she asked quietly, noticing that Alessa had fallen asleep. She didn't want to wake her up.

kisa froze for a moment before choosing her words carefully. "listen, i really wish i could, but you seen how alessa was when i was treating her. i dont think i would be a good candidate. plus, all the time i spend away from home can really get to someone who needs care like that. besides, i know it can be hard to raise someone, expecially if when that person is least to say afraid of you because of what they went through. trust me when i say i would do it in a heart beat, but i cant. not alone anyway. we'll talk about this when the time comes, okay? in fact, i want you to go out for some cake. ill explain more then. maybe friday?" kisa asked as she was emotionally unable to care for children, considering the time vs work ethics and the fact that bears shouldnt really raise pups due to the size difference. "hey, can i ask you something? would you consider becoming a personal nurse?" kisa asked, knowing it would be off topic to say the least.

The thought did cross her mind that Kisa might be a good foster mother. Mary simply nodded, as she really meant for herself to foster the girls. Mary spent a lot of time at home with her three pups. She had grown attached to Alessa and wanted to help her overcome her fears. But with Maria just having her three pups, the timing wasn't the best. Mary slightly pricked her ears as Kisa mentioned going out for cake. "Friday..." she echoed, "I believe I get off work at three." She then tilted her head slightly at Kisa's next question. "Personal nurse meaning I'd be working for you?" she asked, "I do love the job I have now. Since you work in pediatrics, I wouldn't be opposed."

kisa sighed as she shook her head. "although, you would be a better foster for them. i say, you should be adopted by someone close to your species to avoid complications." she said simply, knowing more of that truth than she wanted to. "saki is a red panda, and i fostered her, but she had the power that made her resistant to violence. it made her lash out at different times when her emotions got the best of her. and that happened alot. she needed a tough mom to put up with her outbursts until she grew older, and got better control of herself." she explained, pulling up at the orphanage. "i trained my body to take hers, so i learned every fighting style that i could learn to keep myself from losing all the battles."

"My sister and I both had canine adoptive parents... they were great." said Mary quietly, nodding some. She didn't really have much of an opinion on blended families. Mary took a deep breath before turning back to Kisa. "I think your toughness could work in Alessa's case." she murmured, "She needs reassurance that things will be okay, but someone that can handle the episodes. I could give you a copy of her records to read through." Alessa woke up once they got to the orphanage. She was still worried about Mrs. Potter being upset with her. "C-can I s-stay with o-one of you?" she asked, her ears pinned back.

"...you think so? hm...that brings me to an idea though, in which, ill bring to the cake table friday." kisa stated as she looked into the rear view mirror. "hm?... oh, uh...what happened here?...wait. this isnt where the episode happened, is it?" kisa asked, seeing that some of the things were being moved outside from the kitchen. "whoa..." she muttered in response. "hm...as of now, if that is what happened, here is your first lesson, alessa. mistakes will happen in your life time, alright? the difference between a good person and a bad person with powers is what they do when things like this happen. come on, its okay. ill be there with you. lets go help clean the mess. its okay to make things happen, as long as you help in return if anything happens like this." kisa said as she got out of the jeep and opened the passenger back side door. "ill help too. that shifter guy was the cause of it i presume." kisa said as she smiled, offering her hand to help the pup out of the jeep. "i remember when the house almost flooded because saki ripped the toilet out of the floor." kisa laughed, a funny way to remember saki's first bath. "she was scared of the shower head and wasnt having it with the clippers."

Mary got out and carried Aoi towards the house. She decided to let Kisa handle Alessa for now. Alessa looked at the mess from the window, still a bit nervous. "I-I d-didn't mean to..." she whispered, "H-he talked about t-the accident. I..." She was too tired and drained to use her power now. Alessa slowly got out of the jeep and hobbled behind Kisa. She was more afraid of being hit or kicked for creating the mess than anything else. She had no problem cleaning up everything. "I-I d-don't blame her..." she added quietly, looking to the ground. Alessa stepped inside with Kisa as Mrs. Potter watched them. She was confused and worried about Alessa and Aoi's current states.

kisa picked the girl up and held her in her arms. "hey, there's no need to be nervous. im sure this kind lady will understand after i explain what happened." kisa stated, carrying the girl so her feet wouldnt hurt as much. "hello again. im sure you are in need of an explanation? this is a lengthy story, so ill summarize it. there was a break in last night, the burglar scared these two half to death, resulting in both the mess and the disappearance. we caught the thief and found these two, but they got hurt while running, so i fixed them up." kisa said as she hoped that Mrs. Potter could understand that. she also hoped that she didnt have to explain further as that would be difficult to do. "alessa, tell mrs. potter what you told me, before the shower head part." kisa said as she looked down at the girl, nudging her for inspiration. "and after that, you say, 'im sorry for worrying you' and then everything is alright"

Alessa was genuinely sorry for messing up the kitchen so badly. She looked at Mrs. Potter, her ears pinned back. "I-I'm r-really sorry." she said truthfully, "I... h-he t-talked about the a-accident. I-I didn't know what to do. P-please forgive me." She braced herself for a smack in the face, but instead she felt nothing. "I'm not worried about the mess, I was worried about you and Aoi." said Mrs. Potter gently, "I'm relieved that both of you are safe. I know it's hard to walk on that foot, so I won't make you clean up the hard stuff." Alessa nodded, thanking her over and over again for not being angry.
