Monica shut her eyes as she relaxed. She finished her tea after a while, then went upstairs. Maria was done painting and she began to clean up.

"Yeah, it s busy isn't it?" he asked with a soft smile as he looked at her, he knew being in the hospital was a handful.

[Boomer]

"Mhm." she hummed. Maria walked over to Evan and crawled into his lap. "Can we read or play a game?" she asked. Maria didn't feel like watching TV.

"What do you want to read?" he asked with a soft smile as he looked at her, wanting her to enjoy reading.

[Boomer]

"I'm not sure." she answered, shrugging a little. Maria didn't really mind what Evan picked out; she just wanted to spend time with him.

Evan smiled, "Well lets find a book." he said warmly, heading to the bookshelf in the living room with her.

[Boomer]

Maria cuddled up close to him. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Are your parents nice?" she asked. She had been thinking about her parents' parents.

Evan looked at her, "They can be strict, but they can be nice." he said softly as he looked at her with a gentle smile.

[Boomer]

"Do they live close by?" she asked. Maria looked over at the various books. "Do they know about us?" she murmured.

"No they don't, and yes they do, but they are kind of... not wanting to see you guys right now." he said softly.
