[Larson and Zoe]

Larson nodded slowly and then went to hug him. "Do you mind if I ask you some questions about your curse and I'll answer any questions that you have for me?" He asked him then sighed. "Being a shifter isnt easy either."

Maddie nodded and kept hugging her. "Your secret cane be as bad as my secret." She told her and then began to rub her back.

[Darkminnow]

Jay nodded. "Yeah, what do you wanna know?" He asked, calming down. "I know… I'm sorry I lashed out." He added, his gaze apologetic.

Serendipity shook her head. "No, it's just as bad. Maybe even worse- angels are good. I'm just… meh." She murmured, before slowly shifting to her otter form and dipping her head. She looked sad.

[Larson and Zoe]

Larson bit his lip as he thought. "Have you always been a vampire?" He asked him andntgen sat on the couch and looked at the mess.

Maddie gasped and suddenly picked her up. "You are so cute!" She said and started to pet her before she put her down. "Sorry. Thst was rude of me."

Jay looked suddenly downcast. He sat beside his friend. "Er… no, I haven't…" He mumbled. "D-Did you want to hear the whole story?" Jay asked, trying to look enthusiastic.

Serendipity let out a surprised squeal, but relaxed in Maddie's arms. "Er… it's okay." She squeaked quietly. "Sorry- I'm just not used to being in my otter form with others around."

[Larson and Zoe]

Larson looked at him and rubbed his shoulder. "You can tell me what you wanna tell me.' He asked him and then smiled happily.

Maddie nodded and then smiled. "Its okay." She said and then began to smile happily. "So do you think you can get me set up with Jay?"

[Darkminnow]

Jay shrugged awkwardly. "Well, I was pretty young." He mumbled. "I was out camping with my parents, and it was getting dark. We heard rustling in the bushes, and all went to sit in the tent just in case. About thirty minutes later, we were playing a card game and I realized we had left a light on outside the tent. The noise had died away a while ago, and I wasn't particularly nervous, so I went to turn off the lamp. But when I reached it, I felt a pain in my neck, and- and…" Jay broke off, shivering. "I never saw them again." Jay leaned towards his friend, blinking rapidly. "Sorry, I get like that when I think about them.

Serendipity tilted her furry head, tail flicking across the ground. "Well, probably- He's allergic to sunlight, so it'll have to be indoors of course… But, otherwise it shouldn't be hard. I can message him later if you want, just tell me where you wanna go."

[Larson and Zoe]

Larson frowned and then hugged him. "Hey, it is okay." He said and then looked at him. "I promise it will be better." He said and then smiled. "So other than almost eating Maddie, what did you think of her?"

Maddie nodded and smiled. "How about just a nice dinner at night or even me just go to his place. Wait, not his place. Some sort of public place." She said and then gulmped. "I'm scared that I'll mess this all up."

Jay frowned. "You know I can't help it." He grumbled. Then he shrugged. "I mean, I guess she's pretty nice…" He admitted awkwardly.

Maddie smiled. "You'll be fine, Mads." She said, shifting to her human form and rubbing Maddie's shoulder. "A dinner sounds good. What food do you like?" She asked kindly.

Larson chuckled and looked at him. "You know you may be a vampire, but I'm a bear and I can sense it." He then playfully punched him. "You like her."

Maddie bit her lip. "Mainly anything a normal humans like, though I cant handle bloody meat. My meat has to almost be burnt." She said and then sighed. "Hes going to say no to a date."

Jay looked away. "Okay, maybe I do- but it's not like she likes me." He mumbled.

Serendipity shrugged. "You don't have to eat meat." She said. "Just try, okay? Sometimes the unexpected happens."
