Yuri sighs a bit and then just smiles saying: "Alright, if you say so." She looks at Thomas now talking to Lizzy whi just frowns and shook her head saying: "No, she isn't my mommy, my mommy will be back soon and will come and take me home, daddy promised to buy whatever I wanted." She held the toys close then picked up the others she had placed down.

“Lizzy, your mommy isn’t coming back. She did something really and and the police men didn’t like it one tiny bit. Yuri is your mommy now, and I can promise you she is going to be an amazing mommy.”

Lizzy just started getting upset again and started crying while she said: "No! Tell the police man to bring mommy back now! I want mommy!" She throws the toys down and just started running off towards the door crying. Yuri sighs saying: "Thomas she is five, she doesn't understand this so perhaps try not to keep telling her I am her new mother, the person that has raised her so far isnt here right now and she isnt going to understand that."

Thomas sighed, running after Lizzy and picking her up. “Okay, how about you pick fifteen toys you like? Yeah? No crying, Lizzy, come on.” He said, wiping her eyes. “The police don’t want to let mommy go, but how about I find out if they would let you see mommy?”

Lizzy kicked around ones more, just crying and screaming until she started calming down again and just held onto Thomas. Soon she gave a small nod and said: "Okay, those are ten toys so I can get five more." She sniffed and then asked: "Can we go to mommy then? If they allow us to go to mommy."

“Yes, you can get five-what now?!” He yelled as he saw the store security approaching him. “It’s very obvious that you are kidnapping that girl, and we are arresting you.” They said. Thomas frowned. “She’s my daughter! I had it tested just today, I can call the doctor who tested it!” They nodded. “We’d like you to do that.” He got his phone out, calling Alex and waiting anxiously for him to pick up. “Hey,” He heard, sighing in relief and sting, “Hey, I need-“ before realizing it was a voicemail as it continued. “I’m probabbly busy with doctor stuff, but leave a message at the tone, and I’ll get back to you ASAP!”

Lizzy saw the security coming over and held onto Thomas tightly while she started crying again saying: "Daddy are they trying to take me away too? Daddy dont let them take me away." She sniffed and Yuri just walked over and said: "Everyone calm down, Lizzy just hasn't been away from her mother who got arrested today, she is our new adopted child since Thomas here is her father, please everyone just stop scaring her! Let's get the toys and get back home." Lizzy just buried her face into the chest of Thomas sniffing.

“No, Lizzy, they’re not trying to take you away. I would never let them do that, ever. You’re my daughter, nobody’s taking you away from me.” The security guard sighed but left after Yuri came. Thomas held Lizzy, shaking his head. “I’m never letting anybody take either of you away from me.” He said, putting his arm around Yuri and kissing her cheek, then smiling down at Lizzy and brushing her hair out of her face.

Lizzy sniffed a bit and then just said: "Okay daddy." She hugged him and then said: "Can I get my toys now? Please?" She watched him place an arm around Yuri who smiled and looked at him saying: "I'll also make sure no one takes you away from us got that?" Lizzy just tried pushing the two apart and then wants to get her toys saying: "Uncle Charlie is waiting let's go!"

“Yeah, come on, let’s buy your toys.” He said, grabbing some of them to help her and heading to the register. “Awww, I’m glad you’re starting to care so much about Lily. You’re doing really good, Im so proud that you’re taking the whole thing really well.” He said, hugging her then heading out to her car after buying the items, getting Lizzy in her booster seat.
