Jaceyeon turned around and continued to walk down the road. He ignore the ache in his chest. He knew he had lost his only friend, but he knew it was for the best.

When classes ended and Saige returned to her dorm the door was open slightly and the lock was broken. Entering the room, she saw a dramatic but beautiful looking woman lounging in her desk chair. She had long, raven hair that was so dark it almost disappeared her against her romantic black dress. Her lips were a bright red that stood out against her pale skin and dark eyes. She smiled as Saige enter but continued to play with Ricky who was still trapped in snake form and was coiled around the woman's arm. "Hello. Saige, isn't it?"

Saige froze, staring at the woman. She glanced at Ricky, making sure he was alright. "Who are you?" she asked, narrowing her eyes and folding her arms. Who was this woman, and what was she doing in her dorm?

The woman only smiled and held Ricky closer to her face, her nose brushing the side of his face as his tongue flicked, looking uncomfortable and fearful. "I so adore snakes. I once was married to one, in a way. I never expected you to have one, even given your past." She looked back at Saige, her eyes passing over her, obviously judging her. "Where is Richard?"

Saige frowned, confused. She wanted to get Ricky away from her. "Well, he's mine, so give him to me," she snapped, irritated. "Richard?" she asked, puzzled. She guessed she meant Ricky, but she wasn't going to tell her anything about him.

The woman smirked and kissed Ricky's head leaving a bright red kiss mark against his black scales. "Richard Goldblood. He is supposed to be somewhere in this sad little town and a little birdy told me you have a deal with him. do me a favor and summon him for me. We have some unfinished business."

"Give me my snake first," she snapped. "Then we'll see." She studied the woman, irritated. "Why can't you summon him yourself? I don't want to mess around with a demon, you do."

The woman rolled her eyes and dropped ricky onto the floor carelessly with a thunk. It was obvious the far fall hurt him but he stayed perfectly still where he fell. The woman stood up, smirking at how much taller she was than Saige. She took a step forward, not caring as her heel stepped on Ricky's tail. "Richard has gotten very good at making sure I can't find him over the last hundred years. Its why I need you, his slave, to be a dear and go fetch him for me."

"Hey!" she protested, moving towards them. She glared at the woman. "Fine," she snapped. She crouched down and tried to pick Ricky up.
