Ricky nodded. "Good. Ill work on building a room for him soon. I think there is enough room in the basement to make him a nice room and it should be warm enough since its finished." He opened his eyes amd looked at saige worriedly, concerned about how she would take all of this. "I wamt to keep him, saige. He deserves better than what he has had."

"The one with the ifrit to save the demon." She snapped but tried to force herself to keep thinking clearly. She knew she couldnt trick the demon, but she needed to protect fade. She spoke calmer, trying to convince the demon to do as she asked. "I want to offer you a better deal. Rather than killing him, kill me. I was created thousands of years ago to protect first a diety and then a sacred location. I can do everything fade can do but my powers mean that i would be better at protecting you or killing whoever you want taken out. Leave him alone and take me instead."

Saige smiled, gently pulling him closer. "Good. He deserves to be a part of our family. I'd like to get to know him." She softly kissed his cheek, glad he wanted to have a relationship with his son.

"Hmm." She studied Eira, looking her up and down. "That would be interesting. But I can't break a deal that has already been made. The ifrit will already be feeling weaker while the demon will be feeling stronger. Unless you want to make a different deal entirely, I'm afraid I can't help you."

Ricky smiled, releaved saige wasnt uncomfortable about it. "Thank you saige." He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, kissing her temple.

"I dont care. Ill make whatever deal you want to save his life. Dont pull any tricks, though." She warned. "He needs to be healthy and able to continue to go about his life however he wants. I dont care what happens to me as long as his end of all of this is perfect." She felt like she could barely breathe again. She was terrified, having never faced her own mortality before. She focused on fade, reminding herself of how he had people here who needed him and she was the better sacrifice. "Please. He just needs to be ok."

Saige smiled happily, hugging him close. "Just focus on getting better for now. I'll make sure Fade get's settled in."

The demon studied her, thinking for a while. "Hmm. If I killed you to save the ifrit's life, the deal with the other demon would be broken. He'd die. Are you certain this is what you want? At least the other way only one dies, and it's an ifrit, which doesn't have much value anyways."

"Then lets make a deal that transfers the consequences of his deal onto me. Then his is still fulfilled. Both of them get to live and you get whatever you want from me." She felt panicked. She didnt know how sick fade was but even though he said he had a week left she was scared she was running out of time.

The demon smirked at her, but it was wary. She didn't know anything about nymphs, or how they'd turn out while dead. She didn't want her getting loose from the underworld while they kept her there. "Deal," she decided, holding out her hand to shake hers.

Eira reached out and shook her hand quickly. "Thank you... Just so you know, youll have to physically kill me yourself. We cant die of natural causes since we arent made of the same things other creatures are. I wont fight back. A deal is a deal."

When Eira shook her hand, she felt a wave of fatigue wash over her, as well as a bit of illness. When Fade would wake up, he'd be feeling fine again. "I'll give you two days. Either you can meet me here, or I'll come find you."

Eira swallowed back her fear as her body turned ice cold to compensate for the curse. "Ill meet you here... Thank you." She muttered before turning and heading home to wait out the two days alone.

The demon smirked, watching the nymph leave before teleporting away.
