Eira went back to where her and fade were staying. She paced the room angrily but as her frustration wore off she was left feeling alone and scared she wouldnt see him again. She sat down on the edge of the bed and wrapped her arms aroubd herself as a tear dripped from her face. "But i need you..."

Fade ended up coming back to where they were staying much later. He looked drained and tired, and silently went into the bedroom to get some rest.

Eira looked over at him when he came in. She got up off the edge of the bed and crossed her arms as she looked at him. "Well? What did she want?"

"He'll be fine now. He's going to be getting better." He sat down on the bed, not wanting to answer her question. It had cost him a lot. Way too much. But at least Ricky would get well.

"I dont care about the demon! What did she want in returm!?" She snapped at him. Sje gripped her arms tightly to hide that her hands were shaking and hoped her eyes didnt show how scared she was.

Fade flinched, looking down quickly. "She didn't want anything. She... I had to make a deal with a demon," he muttered quietly. "Ricky will be completely healed in a week. I...."

Eira paled. "You what? What did you do fade?"

[EchoOfShatteredIce]

"I have up until a week. After that..." He lied down on the bed. "Don't worry about it, Eira. Ricky will be better and my girlfriend will easily move on, if she hasn't already."

Eira couldnt stop the tears as they rolled down her face and dripped onto the carpet. "A week until what? You die? You become their servant?" She pushed the tears off her face as she looked away from angrily. "Undo it, fade. Stop being such an idiot and go undo it."

"A deal's a deal, Eira. There's no undoing it." He closed his eyes, trying to push away his fear of dying. He had come close to dying before. This was different, though. A lot more different. When he would die, he wouldn't go to a nice place. He'd go to the underworld, where he'd be a slave to the demons forever. There would be any chance of running away like there was here. And they wouldn't need to hold back punishment now that there wasn't the problem of dying.
