Alex smiled as he saw jace relax. "Im going to meet with penelo tomorrow and explain that the engagement is off. Right now all i want to donis focus on us and rebuilding our relationship"

Jace nodded, hugging Alex close. "Agreed." He smiled crookedly at him, leaning closer and lovingly kissing him. "Do you want me to come with you?" Jace couldn't help but worry that Alex would get mind controlled again if he wasn't there to stop it.

Alex shook his head. "I dont want you to get dragged into this or blamed. It will be here on earth so it should be fine."

"Alright." He rested his head on Alex's shoulder, softly kissing his neck. "I'm so lucky to have you," he murmured, his lips pressed against his skin.

Alex smiled happily and pulled him closer, kissing his forehead lovingly.

Ricky laid boredly in the grass, watching the sun set in the distance. He groaned and rolled onto his back, closing his eyes as he tried to push out his frustration. "Can I kill your girlfriend? That is if she even still is your grilfriend after this."

"Circe? What, and be stuck here forever? At least with her alive, we might get out here eventually. Well, you might. I might die of old age before we do." She was lying on her stomach in the grass after she had flopped down face first in frustration.

Fade had fallen asleep. But then he was getting up and heading for the bedroom door, his eyes blank as he sleepwalked.

Ricky chuckled. "She will be back soon. Have some faith in her. Besides, im pretty sure i cant kill her in here anyway."

Eira looked up from where she was finishing the movie they had been watching. "Fade?" She got up and quickly followed him.

Kailor rolled over and shoved him away. "You're the one who wanted to! So shut up!"

Fade kept walking into the door until he managed to twist the knob open. He walked to the door of the house, not putting on his jacket or boots. He got outside, walking down the street like he was in a trance, because he could be.

Ricky chuckled happily and shoved her back before resuming watching the darkening sky. "Do you thin they miss us?" He asked, suddenly growing serious.

Eira hurried after him, her bare feet slapping against the sidewalk but the cold of the night didnt bother her. She quickly grabbed his hand and tried to pull him to a stop. "Fade, stop!"

Kailor grumbled, moving to lay closer to him to get some of his body heat. "Saige and Vizzie miss you," she told him, staring up at the sky as she rolled over onto her side. "I can't say much about myself."

Fade didn't hear her as he continued, pulling forward despite her attempt to stop him. He walked until he reached Death's mansion, his feet cold and pale as he made his way up the steps. He tried to walk further, but the door was there, and it didn't open.
