Kailor rolled her eyes, but didn't argue. She was pleased that he was agreeing to help with taking care of the girl.

Relieved, Jace relaxed against Alex, feeling calm again. He took his hand, lacing their fingers together.

Fade swiveled his head towards the sound. "Eira!" He lunged towards her, knocking her out of the way of a passing car that would have otherwise hit her. He stumbled from the blow from the bumper, getting knocked to the ground in front of the car. Lucky for him, the car stopped just before running him over.

Circe breathed a sigh of relief when he gave in and leaned back against the couch, watching him feed Vizzie from a bottle. Her heart ached as she missed Saige and was reminded of Kailor's determination to get her back. She knew she had to help try even if all it meant was giving everyone hope.

Eira cried out as she fell to the pavement. She gasped as she saw Fade get hit and quickly crawled over to gim. "Fade? Fade, are you ok?"

Kailor relaxed in the chair, watching Ricky feed Vizzie. She smiled slightly, but it was sad. As much as she was happy Ricky was helping, she wished Saige was here to help, too. She missed her friend a lot.

Fade laid stunned on the ground, the breath knocked out of him. People were starting to notice the accident, and the driver got out and tried to get Fade's attention, apologizing. But Fade remained unresponsive, trying to get his breath back.

Eira pressed her cold hands to where he was hit, soothing the pain as the chill seeped into him. Once the swelling seemed to stop she carefully helped him sit up and rubbed his back to help him breathe. "Youre ok. Just breathe. You are barely bruised." She assured him.

Fade relaxed, feeling the coolness ease the pain. He sucked in a breath, sitting up with her help. "I'm fine," he got out, trying to reassure the driver. "No need to worry." He forced himself to get up instead of leaning against Eira. He stumbled a bit, but kept his balance.

Eira rose with him and helped support him. "Where are you staying? We need to get you home." She said as she helped him leap out of the street.

Fade shook his head, but immediately regretted it once his head ached. "I'm just leaving. I guess I could go back to the hotel." To rest a bit, at least. He'd leave town later. He leaned some of his weight against her, trying not to acknowledge how much he had missed her. "What about you? Do you have a place of your own?"

Eira shook her head. "I just got back from the mountains and was going to get a hotel room. You can stay with me." She offered before helping him to the hotel.

Fade didn't protest as they made their way to the hotel. He wouldn't be staying for long, but there was no need to say anything about it right now. "The mountains, huh? What were you doing there?"

"Cooling down. It was too hot here and I wanted to see more of this world." She got them a room before helping him onto the bed. Almost immediately she sat beside him and tangled a hand in his hair, kissing along his jaw happily. "Ive missed you." She breathed against his neck, her breath cool and sending a shiver down him.
