Ricky cringed and pulled his hand away to run it through his tangled hair. "Sorry about that. Im not normally like that."

Alex kissed his forehead. "I need to ask you something." He whispered to him as his breath tickled his cheek.

"I know you're not. It was a nice change." She hadn't felt that happy before. She sighed, wishing she could pretend a bit longer that it was real.

"Yeah?" He snuggled against him, smiling happily.

Ricky glanced at her worriedly, confused by her reaction. "What did Scarlet talk to you about?"

"I want to go on a date with you. It feels wrong to be sleeping together but not actually doing anything else." Ge blushed and pulled a bit away from him. "Unless you are already with someone in which case forget i said anything."

"She wanted me to leave you or whatever. Wanted to make you forget about me and the others. Something like that," she murmured tiredly, holding on to him.

"I'd love that. Let's go on a date." He smiled, kissing his hand. He felt a flutter of excitement, thinking about going on a date with him.

Ricky sighed and looked away from her, trying to think through everything. "Alex's father hired her to kidnap him and Jace. She says if i remarry her she will make sure all of you guys are left alone."

Alex blushed but forced a smile. "Where do you want to go?"

Saige frowned. "But you're not going to, right? Just get rid of Alex's father, and problem solved." She sat up, running a hand through her tangled hair.

"Anywhere you want." He smiled happily, playing with Alex's hair.

Ricky sighed. "Its not that easy. Alex doesnt want jis father dead. Besides, its probably best if i stop ticking circe off and leave you alone. Not like anyone wants me around anyways."

Alex smiled happily and kissed his nose before sitting up. Ill think of something."

"Are you kidding me?" she demanded angrily. "I want you around. You're the one who pushes people away! You can't seriously be upset that no one wants your company when you don't want ours!"

Jace smiled widely. He had been worried that Alex would be acting differently than he had last night now that he was sober.

Ricky shot a glare at her. "I know you do. But Circe wants me to stay away from you and... Well..." He looked away, unable to meet her gaze. "I dont like upsetting her. If going with scarlet will keep all of you safe than isnt that the right answer?"

Alex glanced at the door as he could hear saige yell from across the hall. "I wonder what he did now." He got up and got dressed, getting lost in his own thoughts.

"No, it's not." She folded her arms, watching him. "It's marriage, Ricky. You'd be stuck with her forever. You got divorced for a reason." She gently reached out and touched his back. "Besides, we've got Kailor and Kal and the others. They had handle Scarlet."

Jace sighed. "Something that upset her, probably." He got dressed, trying to think about how he'd solve his own problems, let alone Saige's.
