Ricky released a deep breath as he held her against him. He buried his face in her hair, searching for tge scent of any other creatures on her as he gently ran his hands over her.

Circe nodded and closed her laptop. "We will need saige's help most likely."

June slipped inside silently, smirking as she saw Kal. She slipped her heels off before walking barefoot over to him and running a gentle hand over his fur.

Saige leaned against him, relaxed. She smiled faintly, feeling happy in his arms. Kailor and Jace were the only people he smelled on her, the only people she had been around.

Kailor bit her lip, refraining from gritting her teeth. She knew Saige wouldn't like this. At least, probably not. She didn't want to have too many people getting in her way.

Kal grunted softly, waking up a bit. He licked her hand softly, peeking open an eye to look at her. He sighed, feeling upset instead of angry, at the moment.

He grunted in annoyance, hoping he would have found something useful. "What all do you remember?" He asked as he took the bottle back from Alex and took a swig.

Alex shot a glare at ricky but when he noticed saige's necklace he pulled out his phone and texted jace. "Why does saige have your cross?"

Circe looked up at her as she pushed her own hair out of her face. "You ok?"

June smiled and kissed the top of his head. "Why are you a wolf? Turn back, i miss you."

"I just remember going to sleep. I woke up standing on the road outside." She softly kissed beside his ear. "I used to sleep walk when I was younger, but I haven't in years."

Jace's reply came slowly. "I gave it to her once she met the vampire. I got another one for myself the same day. Why?"

Kailor nodded quickly. She studied the website, trying to find out more information.

Kal huffed, flicking his ear crossly. He rested his head in her lap, his tail wagging a bit without his permission.

Ricky released a happy sigh and held her tighter. He looked over at Alex worriedly. "You going to be ok on your own or are you inviting Jace over?" he asked but didn't wait for Alex to respond. "Invite Jace over. Make this a pity party into just a party." He looked back at Saige, his lips brushing against her chin. "You should go back to bed. Ill make sure you dont go anywhere.

Alex grunted in response to Ricky before continuing to text jace. "Ricky wants you to come over."

Circe laid back on her bed. "So how is Saige holding up at your house? Driving each other nuts yet?"

June frowned at him. "What? Just turn human. I cant talk to you when you are like this." She got p and walked into the bedroom to change and remove her makeup, giving him a chance to change back.

"Let me stay with you for a bit." She rested her cheek against the side of his head, closing her eyes happily.

"Why?" Why would Ricky want him to come over?

"She's okay. She's spending a lot of time with Jace, anyways." Kailor lied down beside her, resting a hand on Circe's hip.

Kal grumbled under his breath. He curled up on the couch, tucking his snout under his paw.

Ricky rolled his eyes but chuckled drunkenly. "Whatever you want, princess." He mumbled as he resumed watching the tv, getting lost in thought.

"Don't know. Probably just tired of us being alone since he says he wants to throw a party."

Circe frowned slightly and looked at her confused. "They aren't together, are they? I really like Jace being with Alex. He is good for Alex."

June walked back down and narrowed her eyes at him, resting a hand on her hip. "What is wrong with you? Is it a full moon or something?"

Saige smiled slightly, curling up in his embrace. She rested her head on his chest, softly kissing his shoulder every now and then.

Jace scoffed. "Fine." He got his jacket and made his way over.

"What? No." Kailor scoffed. "They're just friends. It's good for them, anyways. They should spend more time with humans."

Kal snorted. He crossly rolled over, turning his back to her, but then sprang up. He stalked over to the door, swiftly changing into his human form and leaving his loft. He stalked down the stairs, briskly making his way out. People needed to learn to leave him and his alone.

Ricky released a pleased hum at her affection, closing his eyes.

Alex hugged one of his legs to his chest, watching the tv as he waited.

Circe nodded and looked back at the ceiling. "Good. I agree I just wanted to make sure."

June groaned in annoyance but went into the bedroom and crawled into bed, not bothering to stress over where he was going.

Saige smiled, leaning against him. She trailed kissing along his collarbone, breathing in his familiar scent.

Jace knocked on Ricky's apartment door, sighing.

Kailor rested her chin on Circe's shoulder, gazing at her. "What are you thinking about right now?" she asked, taking Circe's hand and lacing their fingers together. She wanted to know how Circe's mind worked.

Kal came back much later, feeling pleased with himself. He had staged the man's death as an accident. People needed to learn. And June needed to know the consequences of fooling around with other men.
