Matthew snapped out of it at her cry, since Aryna was gone, he went hurriedly to Magnolia and scooped her up, "Hey, hey, what happened?" he asked softly, he had no idea where they were. Alek explained to Matthew what had happened

The knight looked at him, "Of course I was one of the castle knights, that was years ago though, when that man was just training knights and not the commander." he told Zona with an eyeroll.

Magnolia held onto Matthew, crying and holding her injured side.

"Well, what did you learn?" Zona asked him. He narrowed his eyes, hating this man's attitude.

Matthew held her gently, keep her close, knowing her side had been injured already, he checked to see if she was bleeding.

"We learned how to fight and watch eachother's backs, he's focused on defense fighting in groups and alone against groups." he snorted, "You really come here to ask me how I fight, really?"

"You should take care to not be so disrespectful to me. I rank over you." Zona spoke as he narrowed his eyes at him. "I should report your disrespect to the king? He would not like that would he?"

Magnolia was bleeding and her side seemed bruised.

((He's pretty young, he was in training as a squire at 13, so he'd only be like 17 now))

"So what? Why are you asking me these stupid questions?" he asked as he looked at Zona defiantly, "The king knows where I was trained."

Matthew worriedly used his tunic to gently wrap her side up, so she wouldn't bleed too much.

Zona narrowed her eyes at him. "I am asking these questions because the king has asked me to be through." He spoke as he grasped the knight by the neck, slamming him into the wall of the foyer, daring him to defy him now. His purple eyes stared into his soul.

Magnolia held onto him, shaking in pain.

The knight gasped and struggled against him, his own brown eyes wide as he looked into Zona's purple eyes, scared, he was here because Alek had kicked him out of the guard when he'd been caught stealing weapons.

Matthew held her close and tried to soothe her, sitting with her, "It'll be okay, I will keep you safe, I promise." he said softly as he looked at her.

Zona smirked as he saw fear come across the knight's face. "Now, apologize to me for your disobedience." He spoke as he dropped him to the ground.

Magnolia held onto him, burying her face in the crook of his neck.

The knight huffed and straightened, "I'm sorry." he mumbled as he looked away, just like the teenager he was.

Hana smiled as she looked at all of the sheep, excpet for Tom, who still wanted his wool, she smiled over at Marilynn, hoping she was happy.

"I will be speaking to the king about your disrespect." Zona reminded him. "Maybe he will schedule you in for some retraining." He explained. He stood up straight and left the knight. He walked up to Grai's office and shared the information he got with him. He also told him of the disrespect he received. All of this occurred while Cedrick slept in his lap.

Marilynn was smiling and happy. She was currently turning the wool into yarn on her spinning wheel. She hummed as she did so.
