Anora handed him the dagger, she continued on with cedrick to get him cleaned up, the poor boy was so scared, and she didn't blame him, he didn't look like someone who could handle himself. Alek spotted Cedrick and Anora when he had come to find Cedrick, he frowned and unsheathed his sword, "get away from him." he warned her, Anora stopped, looking surprised.

"People have been going missing." she admitted as she looked at her, "So I am hoping it is safer out here." she said softly.

Felix got to work making it seem like he had killed the king. He sent out an announcement to this kingdom and the kingdoms around the castle indicating it was under a new ruler. It would appear in the morning when everyone was awaking in their beds.

Cedrick looked up as he saw Alek. "No, Alek...It's not what you think!" He spoke quickly, throwing a shaking and protective arm in front of Anora. He didn't want Alek to hurt this nice women all because he thought that she hurt him. "It's hard to explain but I will explain in a moment. Please just let me get this blood off..." He spoke softly.

"It's safer out here for sure." Marilynn spoke.

Alek watched warily, he slowly sheathed his sword, "I will take it from here." he said, not trusting Anora, who let him take Cedrick and went back to Felix to make sure everything was going smoothly. Alek watched and gently lead Cedrick into his chambers so he could help him get the blood off and tell him what happened.

"Thank you Marilynn, truly." Hana said with a soft smile as she looked at her.

As Cedrick stood in Alek's chambers and washed the blood from his arms and hands in his sink, he slowly explained what he had done and what had happened with Anora and Felix. He watched Alek's face cautiously, seeing how he would react when he found out that he had killed the king out of self-defense. Worse case scenario, Alek would hate him and report him to the authorities.

Felix informed Anora that everything was going smoothly and they were now the proud leaders of this kingdom. The announcements would appear in the morning for everyone in the kingdom and in others. He had gotten rid of the body as well while she was gone.

Marilynn smiled back at her, staring right into her eyes.

Alek hugged him gently once he was clean, "Are you okay? I am sorry he did this because of me." he said softly as he stroked the man's cheek. "We shall see how Felix and Anora are as rulers, but they seem better then the past King." he said softly. He let Cedrick go, "I am glad you protected yourself." he said softly.

Hana blushed and looked away, embaressed a bit, she'd tried to clean up for the funeral, but there was only so much she could do. "Thank you, truly, for this."

Cedrick was surprised when he was hugged but hug Alek back tightly, leaning into his hand when he stroked his cheek. He stepped away from him with the softest blush dusting his freckled face. "I am fine, just a bit shaken from killing a man." He explained softly. "I am sure anything would be better than the past king." He told him.

Alek looked at him and nodded, "I can imagine." he said softly, "I know you were scared, it's okay. You were just protecting yourself." he said gently and kissed his forehead softly, "I am proud of you." he said gently, "And I am hoping the are good." he said softly.

Cedrick gave another small blush as his forehead was kissed. As selfish as it sounded, the king's death was worth it as Alek was now free to be himself without the king ordering him around like a puppet. It was selfish as that meant that Alek would now be free to pay attention to Cedrick.

"No need to thank me" Marilynn smiled as she looked at her. "You looked nice at the funeral by the way. Black really looks good on you." She explained to her.

Alek looked at him, "I ill find out more about them later." he said softly as he looked at Cedrick and smiled gently as he held her close and rubbed his back to soothe him, "Thank you, for giving me my heart back, and saving yourself.' he murmured as he looked down at him.

Hana blushed a little, "I dyed my dress black.' she admitted softly, "I will have to bleach it back lighter when I can." she said softly as she looked at her, she only had the one piece of clothing.

Cedrick relaxed into Alek's grip as his back was rubbed. He looked up at Alek. "Yes. Hopefully they will still allow you to be the commander of the guard, I know how much that job delighted you when you were able to help people rather than injuring them." He explained as he looked up at him. "It was no problem giving your heart back to you. I had no need for it when I know I can get you to do what I desire just with a pout." He spoke playfully. His pixie nature was returning since he was no longer bogged down with the pain and sadness of serving the king.

"Why did you need to dye it?" Marilynn asked her curiously as she lead her to the guest bedroom to show her where she and Skye could sleep from now on.
