Julian hadn't expected Clair to be so protective of Robin, though it didn't seem to faze him. " I'd really rather discuss the business proposition with Robin herself. It's really a sort of personal matter, you understand~?" He said, never dropping his polite tone. With a slight hum, the attractive young man adjusted the bandana he was using for an eyepatch before speaking again. " I get the feeling that you don't trust me, miss Clair. I can assure you that I mean Robin no harm~ We've been friends since the roaring twenties~ I helped her run one of the biggest bootleg whiskey operations in New Orleans back in the day." It was hard to tell if Julian was lying or not, but the young man seemed to be quite convincing.
" Aw~ You're much too sweet to me, lovey~" Kira giggled, kissing Jay's nose lightly. Happily, the petite teen plopped herself down at the table right beside Jay. " Hmmm, I think I want pad thai noodles!" She hummed happily, looking up to Jay with a bright smile, " We can share, if you want to?"
" Mark Holback.. North gang?" Robin hummed lightly, tapping her nails on the table lightly as she tried to remember," That sounds so familiar. Yes, I do believe I've met him a few times before. If my memory serves me correctly, he was quite an excellent shot~" She purred amusedly, giving Matt a gentle nudge," Perhaps you do have the makings of a good marksman? You know, I think we should have a bit of target practice~"
