Maybelle blushed more when he chuckled before nodding a little. "Alright. Should...i lay back or something?" she asked quietly and leaned into his hand when he was reassuring her. "And don't joke like that. You aren't allowed to get hurt again!" she huffed to him.

" Just try to get comfortable, okay June bug?" He said, smiling down at May gently as he helped her lay back and get a bit more comfortable. As May huffed at him, Toby gave a warm chuckle and playfully wiggled his ears at her just to make her smile," I'm sorry, darling~ " He smiled gently, " I didn't mean to make you worry~ "

She hummed slightly and lay back. Biting the inside of her cheek as it sort of stretched her wound and hurt but it needed to be done. Her eyes never leaving him and they lit up seeing his ears wiggle as usual. Her comfort and weakness. He could get her to calm down so easily with such a trick. Her hands moved to try petting them. "I know you didn't. I'm just a worry wart" she said and furrowed her brow slightly. "Do you think my li'l bro will be alright?" she asked.

Toby beamed as he saw May's delighted expression, pleased that she loved how he wiggled his little wolf ears. It warmed his chest and made his heart pound just a little faster to see her looking so happy. With a happy little 'murr' sound, the dark-haired werewolf bent down a little more to let her stroke his fuzzy little ears. " You don't have to be worried, June bug~" He said gently, offering her a little smile, " And I think that Milo'll be just fine. Right now, we need to focus on you getting better, okay?" Toby said playfully kissing her forehead once more before beginning to get to work on her wound.

May played with his ears easily and contently when he bent down some more. "I always have to be worried. It's my job I think" she mused before nodding slightly. Ending the topic on Milo and smiling a bit from the kiss before she pulled her hands from his ears and put a hand to her mouth to bite on as he got to work on the wound. Having to close her eyes so she didn't pass out or freak out.

Toby gave May's hand a gentle, affectionate squeeze in an effort to reassure her. " Hey, it's alright darling~ It's not going to hurt" He said gently. Careful not to hurt her, he quickly and skillfully began stitching up the wound once he had numbed the area. Trying to keep May's mind off of him working on her wound, Toby softly hummed a soothing melody to help her stay calm and ease her fears. Once he was finished stitching up the wound, the young werewolf gently planted a kiss on May's forehead before standing, " You were marvelous, pumpkin~" He cooed softly

Maybelle swallowed anxiously but nodded as she believed him. But yes he lied and it did hurt but she dare not make a sound. Instead she clasped her mouth shut tight and listened to his hum. Sure the numbing worked and all but it hurt in her head. The idea of being stitched up and not feeling it wasn't pleasant in the slightest and she almost did pass out but was doing alright overall. Letting out a breath when he had finished she looked to him and smiled a bit from the kiss. "Thank you Tobykins... Um... Can I have a proper kiss and maybe something warm like a blanket or yiu to snuggle with and more tea?" she asked with a bit of a hum. Being careful as she fixed her dirtied shirt up a bit and seemed to scan in the first aid for something to wrap it to keep infections away.

" You're welcome, darling~" Toby smiled at May gently, kneeling by her side to brush the hair from her face, " Of course you can have a kiss, pumpkin! And I'll make us some hot tea and we can snuggle for as long as you like~" He assured her gently, " And I'll see if Poppy or Gilly has a shirt or something you can borrow so you don't have to wear that ripped one, okay?" Toby just wanted her to be as happy and as comfortable as possible. With a soft smile, he gave May a proper kiss on the lips, gently cupping his hand to her cheek.

May smiled brightly to him as he brushed hair from her face. Cooing softly and happily. "Perfect! And yes that would be lovely. And I think I have questions to answer with Poppy" she giggled a little and with her patience she finally got the kiss she wanted and smiled into it. Kissing him lovingly and happily even through everything because she felt safe again. Safe and she was alright and her only focus or thought was Toby. "I love you, my little wolf" she hummed to him when she pulled her lips away from his slightly. Looking at him, her smile showed in her eyes.

Toby pulled away from May slowly, almost unwilling to let her be apart from him even for a few moments. He smiled down at her fondly, a warm sparkle in his eyes. " Alright, pumpkin~" He cooed happily, " I'll get right on making some tea first. Is there any kind you'd like in particular~?" Toby asked, gently pressing a soft kiss to her hand. As May called him her little wolf, he beamed, wiggling his ears at her happily at the little nickname. He was her wolf and her wolf only; Toby's gentle heart would forever belong to May.
