May seemed to calm her giggles when Toby calmed the kisses and listened to Gilly. "None taken. I just never realized what dreams could be true Hm?" she mused a little and gave Toby a sheepish look when he mentioned films. "And books. Not terrorizing but y'know. Handsome and protective alpha stories are always a lovely read" she blushed a bit and gently moved to touch his wiggly ears once again. Her weakness almost. "Yeaaaa I know. Just when we first met you were adement on people sticking away from the Forrest so now it just makes sense" she hummed a bit and seemed to think. "So... Like... All creatures? Or are some totally made up? Cause I would love to see a unicorn if that actually exists" she mused.

Toby chuckled warmly as May blushed and talked about the handsome, protective alpha stories she enjoyed. He felt his own cheeks warm just a tiny bit in response. " I dunno if I'm a fierce, handsome werewolf like that either~" He chuckled softly, unable to resist the urge to kiss her sweetly as she played with his ears. Toby loved it when she played with his ears; she could probably get him to agree to do anything as long as she kept petting his soft, sensitive ears. " Mmhm~" Toby murmured happily, content as May kept petting his ears, " That's why I try to keep people away from the forest, especially at night" He explained

Gilly was obviously glad that May wasn't offended by his saying that humans often got mythical creatures all wrong. He grinned at her crookedly, nodding a bit as she asked about unocorns. " Unicorns are definitely real, though just as rare as human folks say. I've never seen one, but Poppy has before a few times. She gets unicorn tears and hairs for some of those crazy potions she makes. I think she was experimenting with love potions," He chuckled, giving a shake of his head, " Poppy nearly blew up the cottage the last time she messed with that potient stuff!" Gilly laughed warmly, pracing just a little faster as the path opened up to a spaceous clearing that held a large white-washed cottage surrounded by towering sunflowers ( obviously grown by magical means) and what appeared to be an entire flock of various birds of all kinds; owls, sparrows, doves, even a flamingo or two. " Oi! Eden get your birds away from the yard, we've got guests!" Gilly called, looking up at the cottage's slopped roof to the shadowy figure that was sitting up there. Eden, a young man with pair of large wings and nothing on but a pair of worn trousers was sitting on the roof, strumming a guitar as he serenaded his flock of birds. He didn't appear to hear Gilly's shouts, lost in his own little world. " Ah, forget about him" Gilly said, shooing the birds away from the cottage door so Toby could carry May inside.

(obviously magic beans *scoffs*) may looked at Toby with an 'o' expression. "You are though. I've seen you mad. Very fierce. And handsome" she said seriously. She smiled and moved herself a bit to give him a few quick peck to his lips on praise for being such a good boy~. Nd no. May would never be offended at such a thing as the truth. "Yes us humans like to make up quite a few stories. Sad really" she sighed before listening about unicorns and her eyes sparkled in delight. Ever since a little girl that was her favourite story to hear. Though seeing all the birds she squeaked and hid into Toby's chest a bit. Not a huge fan of birds unfortunately. Her eyes flicking to the figure with wings but closed them after die to seeing spooky birds fluttering about.

( Definitely magic beans! XD) Toby chuckled warmly at May's sweet compliment, his heart melting all over again as she praised him and softly kissed his lips. " I'm only fierce for you, honey bun~" He murmured contentedly, kissing her forehead lightly. As she cuddled closer to him, Toby held her close and shielded her from having to be too close to Eden's flock of birds. The birds were quite harmless, enraptured by the winged boy's soft, soothing music.

Gilly watched them with an amused smile, " Come on you two love birds! Poppy's probably already got some hot tea waiting for ya" He said, ushering them into the vibrant cottage. It was nothing at all like Toby's cozy, almost grandmotherly cabin, but it was warm and inviting all the same. The cottage's living room was filled with potted plants, most of which had a magical aura, and colorful, mismatched chairs. It was full of strange looking knickknacks, messily tucked away on shelves amongst thick, leather bound books and the occasional napping cat. An enchanted feather duster and cleaning supplies hovered about in the air, tidying up the cottage and rearranging the haphazardly organized objects. Gilly seemed unbothered by the chaotic little room, giving a happy sigh, " Poppy! We have guests! You'll never guess who it is!"

A chubby young woman with curly black hair and what could only be described as a magic wand stepped out of the next room, levitating a tray of tea and a plate of gingersnaps in front of her " Did you call me?" She asked sweetly, " Oh! We have guests!" She chirped happily, " Tobias! It's so good to see you! You know, I had a vision that a dark-haired man was going to visit us today! " Poppy said cheerily, setting the cookies and tea down. " Oh? But who's this?" She asked, looking to Clair interestedly, " You're a human, aren't you?! I can tell from your aura!" She said, lightly poking at May's hair with her magic wand. Toby gently pushed the wand away, " Poppy, careful where you point that thing! May's a person, not one of your specimens" He huffed lightly, though didn't seem to annoyed at the plump young woman. " Oh! I'm terribly sorry, " Poppy apologized with a little curtsy, looking to May with a apologetic smile, " I get so carried away sometimes"

May smiled a bit at Toby and was glad he aided her shielding of the birds. Yeah... Harmless until they poop on you. Not her pleasant wants in this world and hence her avoidance of birds. At a safe distance? Fine. Up close? Ehhhh. Better be wearing a diaper. She glanced to Gilly when he spoke up. She smiled and rolled her eyes before they widened when they entered the home. It had a different feel to it and she looked about curiously and eagerly. Wanting to be put down but she would only further her injury by moving about with such a fresh wound. Her eyes moved to the chubby woman and she found her to be rather lovely in all truth and smiled. Knowing she would like her right away. "I'm Maybelle...and so far I think I'm human. Beginning to second guess myself though" she laughed lightly and blinked from the poke before breaking out into a small fit of laughter. "That was weird" she mused and smiled to Poppy. "It's okay! I totally get it" she said and looked up at Tony with AA smile. She poked his nose since he seemed protective even by a simple poke.

With a soft chuckle, Toby gently kissed May before setting her down gently on the soft, pastel yellow couch. “ How are you feeling, pumpkin~? Are you okay?” He asked gently, speaking so only she would hear. Though she seemed to be doing much better than she had before, he was still quite worried about her wound.

Gilly plopped down on the adjacent couch, helping himself to a couple cookies. “ Mmm~ These are delicious, Poppy!” He hummed happily, munching on the cookies. Poppy blushed and looked pleased that he enjoyed them, though playfully smacked his hand away from the plate of gingersnaps with her silvery wand “ Save some for our guests, you silly goose!” She scolded him lightly, wagging her finger at him as if he were a naughty child instead of a sturdy young man that was easily twice her height. As Poppy turned away from him to talk to May, Gilly playfully stuck his tongue out at her and snatched just one more cookie.

Poppy looked to May happily, her bright blue eyes sparkling with pure joy. “ It’s lovely to meet you, Maybelle! I’m Poppy” She said cheerily, giving another little curtsy before offering May a cup of tea, “ I’ve never met many humans before! What’s it like living without magic? It must be so hard! Do you ever wish you had powers or magical abilities? Tell me everything!” She asked excitedly, though not in an overwhelming way like Gilly’s rambling could be. Poppy seemed absolutely thrilled at meeting a human this close- she was almost unable to contain her excitement. Toby gave a warm chuckle, looking over at the chubby young woman with a kind look in his eyes. “ C’mon Poppy, let May take a breath first before you start an interrogation, eh?” He teased playfully, his bright eyes sparkling amusedly. Poppy blushed, clasping her hands together, “ Oh! I’m terribly sorry” She said with an apologetic curtsy to both May and Toby, “ You both must be worn out from your journey! And in my vision, I saw someone was hurt” She fretted as she looked over the couple with a concerned gaze before she saw the bandages around May’s wound. “ Oh no! Let me get the first aid kit, alright? I’ll be back in a moment!” The chubby young woman excused herself before hurrying out to find the first aid kit.

May shifted about slightly to get more comfortable on the couch. Her hand hovering still over her little wound and glanced up at Toby. "I'm alright for now. I think I'll need to fix up the bandages soon though" she told him quietly. May wanted Toby to snuggle up to her though as Gilly and Poppy bicker Ed about cookies.

Maybelle listened to Poppy ramble and smiled warmly at her and laughed softly. "It's okay Poppy. I'll answer it all I do just need a breath though" she mused lightly before blinking a bit. "A vision? Oh. Ah yes okay. Thank you" she said and gave Toby a sheepish look. "It's like she heard me" she said in slight awe and was hesitant with exposing the wound, knowing it would be very unpleasant.

(( Aw thanks! <3 lol Toby is always so loving and snuggly! I just love how cuddly he is with May X3 And May is so sweet and spunky! I love their relationship so much because it’s just so cute! Lol ))

Toby was relieved as May said that she was alright. It took a huge burden off his shoulders to know she was feeling better than before. Very gently, he took her hand and affectionately stroked the back of her hand with his calloused thumb. “ I’ll take care of it, pumpkin~” He assured her gently, “ Just try to rest for now, alright? I’ll see if I can fix up your bandages.” He said softly, kissing her forehead, “ Maybe if we’re lucky, Poppy can whip up some sort of healing potion for you?”

Toby chuckled warmly at May’s sheepish look, kneeling down beside the couch so she wouldn’t have to strain to look up at him. “ You never know with Poppy… she’s a bit of a wildcard” He explained, lowering his voice so the others wouldn’t over hear, “ Her visions and predictions aren’t always very accurate sometimes. She might have overheard or she might have really had some sort of vision, you never know.” The young werewolf chuckled, a kind sparkle in his eyes as he looked to May. Very gently, he brushed the hair from her face and kissed her cheek lightly.

Gilly reclined in his chair comfortably, watching the couple with an amused little grin. He had been friends with Toby for a long time and had seen how heartbroken the young werewolf had been after Gloria’s death. It warmed his heart to see Toby looking so happy and affectionate once again. And Gilly thought May nad Toby were quite adorable together and obviously wouldn't hesitate to admit it.

May hummed at the warm feeling of his hand and thumb against her cold little ones. Smiling with a light blush. "Hmmm yes. All fixed up would be lovely" she said softly and smiled a bit. "Oooo I see." she nodded in understanding for Poppy and she seemed to show a fondness in her expression for the male in front of her. "Such a tease. Always kissing everywhere but the lips!" she huffed playfully and pulled him close and kissed him properly and happily without an issue. Not caring for any eyes that watched and pulled away to smile goofily at him. "I. Love. You" she said simply and honestly before moving her hand to touch his ears lightly. "So cute"

“ I’ll get you fixed up. Don’t you worry about a thing, June bug~” Toby said, looking back down at her with a fond little smile. His bright hazel eyes sparkled madly as she pulled him close and kissed him properly. Sweetly, he kissed her back on the lips before pulling away just a bit for a breath. “ I love you too, darling~” he cooed happily, unable to resist kissing her soft lips just once more, “ Ha~ You are much cuter than me~” He hummed happily, his fingers lightly playing with her long, soft hair.

Gilly politely looked away as May and Toby kissed on the couch, pretending to be quite interested in his cup of chai tea.

After a few moments, Poppy came walking into the living room holding the first aid kit, “ Here we go! I found it~” She called sing-songily, “ Sorry I took so long! For some reason, I put the first-aid kit in the kitchen with the pancake mix” Poppy set the kit down on the coffee table by Toby, “ Would you like us to step out for a bit?” She asked, already shooing Gilly out so May could have some privacy when Toby took care of her wounds.
