Maybelle smiled and admired the hard work of Nyx as well. "Noooo" she cried in a laugh as Toby splashed them. Her eyes looking to him as she wiped herself to rid of water. "Yeah! Naughty wolf" she cooed and moved to Toby after Nyx splashed him. Giving his soaked shirt a gentle tug as she looked up at him with a smile. "Still love ya though" she hummed and tried to tug the shirt to get him to come for a kiss.

Nyx laughed delightedly as she watched May with Toby, beaming at the couple before ducking under the water once more. Though, it was obvious that she didn't go far as her clear, bubbly giggles could be heard faintly mixed pleasantly with the lovely sound of the gently burbling stream.

Toby gave a warm, rumbling laugh as both May and Nyx scolded him playfully. With a fond sparkle In his eyes, he gently scooped May up in a cozy hug and kissed her on the lips sweetly. " I love you too, darling~" He cooed softly to her, his deep hazel eyes sparkling like mad, " I'm glad I'm your Wolfy, darling~"

Maybelle squeaked as she was scooped up, looking or more feeling like a drowned cat as her clothes were soaked and clinging to her almost uncomfortably. But her mind left that thought when she got the kiss she wanted and smiled. Her eyes looking into his with a familiarity and a calmness to her slightly scattered gaze. "You best be glad. If I had truly died and left you here to find yet another woman I would have come back from the grave for sure. No magic involved whatsoever" she mused and cupped his cheeks and her Playful gaze turned more soft. "I'm still sorry." she added as her head moved to lean into his chest, resting under his chin. Her temperature had finally cooled meaning she was stable for now.

Toby gave a soft chuckle, lowering them both into the water a little more so that May could stay cool while he held her " I promise, if you had died, I never would have even looked at another woman." He said, kissing her lips sweetly, " No one on earth could compare to you, darling~ No one in this world is as beautiful nor as kind and loving as you are~ " Perhaps it was a little cheesy, but Toby believed this with his whole heart. No other person could replace May in his heart. With a soft smile, Toby easily shifted May to one arm so he could brush some of her damp hair from her face, " You don't have to be sorry, darling. It wasn't your fault"

Maybelle held him and floated a bit to ease him of the burden of her wet weight. She returned the kiss lightly and frowned at his words. "Don't say such things" she actually scolded him for it. "If I die you move on. I am nothing special and anyone can compare Toby. I'm not amazingly beautiful and I'm bred to be kind and loving. It's just my nature. In more ways than one I'm learning. Please don't put be on a pedestal..." she softly whimpered. She did love his affections and how he felt and believed it but she was low on self esteem after all the events going on." And I am sorry. I am so sorry. In a way I've lied to you and I didn't know it! I've lied to everyone. Claude...he knew. He knew too well what would happen and I hate that. I hate that he knew this part. This sad dark part that he created and seemingly ripped away. I'm not human anymore Toby...im sorry." she murmured and looked to him sadly.

Toby frowned a tiny bit as May scolded him lightly, though his eyes still held the same deep fondness in them. " Darling, you are special, even if you don't believe it. You're the most amazing person I have ever met. Even if you were breed to be this way, you choose to be so caring and loving." He said gently, meeting her lovely gaze. Even though her eyes had changed color, he still thought that they were absolutely gorgeous. " June bug, it's okay. You didn't mean to lie to anyone. You just didn't know all this would happen" Toby said gently, kissing the top of her head, " And I couldn't care less if you were human or not. I'd still love you if you had changed into a unicorn or a mermaid. Though, we might have had a tiny problem if you had turned into a cat" He said, a twinkle of mischief in his eyes as he teased her playfully, " My wolf still likes to chase cats sometimes." Toby wasn't really being serious when he said that he wouldn't have liked it if she had turned into a cat. In all honesty, Toby would have loved May just the same, not matter what form she took or what powers she had.

Maybelle leaned slightly into the kiss when it was given and she laughed softly at the cat comment. "I like cats" she murmured and rubbed at her face so no tears would show up. She had to just get over it even if she dient understand it. She had so many worries at the moment it was rediculous. "Maybe I should be a cat. I'd like to see your wolf try and catch me" she lightly mused and held onto him. "I love you Toby. Even with all the horrible things I drag you into or through. I love you. You're such a perfect wolfy...so snuggly and sincere and loving and I just...i love it. You are the special one Toby. You really are" she said seriously and honestly. Nuzzling into his chest slightly as it was the closest she could get. "I hope everyone's still okay" she whispered softly.

((random thought. But I can picture them meeting Toby's family and his family keep trying to set him up with another wolf and May just getting all huffy and protective and whatnot. Sort of a cute thing? Dunno just pure amusement))

Toby couldn't help but smile a little as May's mood seemed to improve just the slightest bit. " If you were a cat, my wolf would eat you up~ Like this!" He teased, playfully kissing May's neck and cheek all over with a few little 'noms'. His impish little ' om noms' usually never failed to make her smile; Toby hoped that it would work to cheer her up a little more. As May nuzzled him, the young werewolf's heart absolutely melted, " I love you too, June bug~" He hummed softly, kissing the top of her head, " I'm glad you don't mind my cuddliness" With a soft smile, Toby let himself float just a bit, keeping close to May, " And, yeah. I'm sure everyone is okay, pumpkin. "

((oooh yeah. Like very protective and lovey with him because she will want his attention to the full max XD getting jealous super easy cause she isn't the same species so she can't relate. But at least she ain't human anymore so they can't get mad at Toby lol))

Maybelle squealed softly at the kisses and laughed. Her smile improving a bit more and she seemed to get out of her glum state and hopefully for the last time. "Evil wolfy! That tickles" she hummed a bit and snuggled him like he were in fact a teddy bear. I mean he had a big enough build to be a big teddy for sure. "I hope so. If not I'll separate the bodies from their heads, the enemy that is" she grumbled a bit seriously but looked to Toby and smiled sweetly. Kissing his jaw. "Speaking of...you promised we would go to your family if all went well...do you still hold to that or?" she asked slowly.

Toby gave a warm, rumbling chuckle as May began to laugh from his playful kisses. His chest warmed to see her looking more like her usual cheerful self. " You're so cute, June bug~" He cooed to her, nuzzling her cheek fondly before wrapping her in a giant bear hug. As May mentioned going to see his family, Toby's expression didn't change, but his eyes held a faint melancholy in them. He, of course, wanted to see his family after all these years, yet he was still afraid of being rejected. Very gently, Toby squeezed May's hand before smiling down at her, all traces of his melancholiness gone. " I did promise that, didn't I?" He hummed," I don't see any harm in going to see my old pack."
