He nodded, and began to hand her the bottles as she put them up. With both of them working it didn't take them long at all to finish putting them all up. With that chore done he made sure he wasn't in her way, waiting to see what she would do next.

"Basil!" an angry voice exclaimed before he was being lifted by the collar. Startled, he grabbed at the wrists of the person holding him until he realized who it was. "What are you doing?"

"Well," he said, regaining his composure, "I am pretty sure that I was sleeping. Until you decided to wake me."

The man's face reddened and he loosened his grip. "Honestly, are you going to be useless forever?"

"Possibly. I thought I could spare a celebratory nap though."

"A cleb- wait, you mean?"

"Yes."

"So our lead was right after all? I still don't understand why you are sleeping in the kitchen instead of doing what I asked you to do."

Basil shrugged. "You asked me to follow her and find out if she was the one. I did that. I suppose. You weren't home so I figured that I would wait on you to get back."

The man pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to keep himself from choking his son. "Well, I am going to get some of the others. We are going tonight. Go and watch the house. Make sure that she doesn't leave."

Sighing he slid off of the table that he was sitting on, stretching out his back. "If you insist."

Time passed fairly quickly and the bottles were sorted in a timely manner with no accidents to Seraphine's delight. "Well, now that that's done, why don't we find something else to do hmm? She began to walk up the stairs hearing the sound of Phleg's hooves behind her. She sat down on one of the stools that sat at her kitchen island. She patted the stool in front of her, helping the little creature up. "You know, I do a lot of sketch's in my notebooks of things that I like or that I find to be beautiful. Like flowers or herbs." She flipped through the notebook she had been writing her observations in and showed her some of her previous drawings of lavender, basil, and other various plants. "I'd like to try and draw a picture of you if I may, to add to my collection. Would that be ok?"

Phleg got up on the stool with her help, eyeing her drawings with interest. As angry as she had been with him that morning he was surprised that she was no longer being harsh towards him. When she asked if she could draw him he nodded, a fragment of a smile on his face.

Seraphine smiled, "Alrighty then, this may take a little while. I need you to be as still as you possibly can. She took a good long look at Phleg then began to make lines on her paper.

About an hour passed and she held her book out in front of her, comparing her drawing to the real thing. She smiled, "I think I'm done." She flipped the book around to show him her finished piece. " Well, for now. I'll have to go back later and add color. What do you think?"

Phleg sat as still as he could, his eyes wandering around the room as she drew to keep himself occupied. After a bit he began to get a little bored and wasn't as still as he had been. He was relieved when she was finally finished, eagerly looking over the drawing. "Wow, that is really good!"

Seraphine visibly puffed up, "Thank you, it's a hidden talent of mine that seems to go unnoticed." She closed the book and stepped off the stool. "Well, it's about dinner time. I'm sure you're getting tired of nothing but fruit. I was going to cook some pasta, wanna try some?" She walked over to her cabinets and began pulling out pots and ingredients."

"Sure," he said, not really caring what he was going to eat. He was hungry, and nothing had been exceptionally filling. "What is in pasta?" he asked her.

Outside the house Basil fidgeted with the rings on his fingers, idly glancing up to the house every now and again. The sky was slowly getting darker, and he knew that it wouldn't be too long until he would be joined by the others. It was cold, and his breath was billowing up and disappearing. As many times as he had made a poor lookout on purpose, he didn't know why they continued to make him do it. Maybe it was a form of punishment, because sitting out in the cold was not really his favorite pastime.

"Well..." She began to explain what the pasta noodle itself was then moved on to the homemade tomato sauce while she began cooking. "... then I like to garnish it with some Basil, but that's not really an important ingredient. It just makes the dish look more professional. It's an easy dish to cook. The most frustrating thing is waiting for the water to boil. That honestly feels like it takes the longest. At least since I make my own sauce, I can start that while I wait." She continued to talked as she cooked. After about half an hour it was finally done. She grabbed two bowls and scoped the noodles into them. Pouring the sauce on top and delicately sprinkling on the basil. She walked back over to the island and placed one of the bowls in front of Phleg, then took the seat beside him. She took a bite and turned to Phleg. "So, what do you think?"

The pasta smelled really good, and his stomach growled as the aroma reached his nose. When she gave him his he didn't hesitate to start eating. It still wasn't like the food from home, but it was satisfactory and he continued to eat until she asked him what he thought. "I really like it!" he said before going in for another bite.

By the time that the others began to show up everything was dark. They had found a more convenient spot for multiple people to be without being seen, with the house still in sight. "Alright, we are positive that we will find the celestial here. There really isn't much time to waste. We will wait until midnight, when everything around is quiet, and break in. We find the celestial first. If it is there, we take the girl too. Understood?"

"I'm glad you like it." Once they finished she took the bowls and washed them. "It's getting late. We should probably head to bed soon. You can sleep on the couch again if you like. Gnash I'm sure would enjoy the company, and if you need I can get you a blanket."
