I walked out of the room and sat down next to you. “Pres... your only 80% human... your a cyborg.. you went to a lab with your mom that is controlled by the agency... you were supposed to kill me... your not even a real shifter.. well you weren’t born one your mother killed a shifter and injected his or her blood into you making you a shifter. You were supposed to befriend me and later kill me which means all the shifters are gone.” I explained seriously.

“W-what?? But I had this symbol on me all of my life.” I said. Jack came into the room and sat down on the ground. He looked at me and nodded at what Kayla said. “It’s true Preston.” He said. “But why would my mom do that? Why would she make me a shapeshifter and a cybor or whatever I am?” I looked at Jack, knowing he would know. “Well it wasn’t really her fault for Turing you into a cybor. You had birth defects. Your heart wouldn’t properly function and your brain was a little bit damaged. So she had to make you a cybor to keep you alive. From then on you just kept adding things and changing things about you. You just really became her test subject.” I felt sad and wanted to be alone. I just got under the covers and hid myself from the world.

I scrambled under the covers and pulled you close. “Hey... I love you... no matter what I love you... I was planning on coming back tomorrow just had to let you work the kinks out” I said cuddling with you. “Your worth so much to me and you being part machine doesn’t make that any different... if you want I can make sure she never comes back...” I said softly.

I hid my face between your neck and the bed. “I don’t really care what you do to make sure she doesn’t come back.” I was just upset about what Jack told me, me basically being a test subject. I gave you a kiss on the cheek.

I smiled and hugged you tightly. “If you ever feel bad or like something is going on come to me Okay!” I said sleepily. “I wuv chuuu” I said before falling asleep

I chuckled and I said I love you more. I too went to sleep. When it became morning, I had no desire to go to school. I just held you close to me, scared that something bad will happen.

I woke up and mumbled “we should go to school.. you want me to come with?” I said making a tiny me appear on his shoulder. “I can watch you and make sure nothing happens...” I mumbled sleepily.
