The school day went by pretty quickly. It felt like it went by in a blink of an eye, even though that wasn't true, but it just felt like it. Upon of arriving home, I went up to my room and started to work on homework. After getting mine done, a few of my brothers asked me if I could check over their homework. Getting all of that done, I gave it back to them and went to check on Max. I knocked on his bedroom door and waited. I heard him say he didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment. I sighed and walked downstairs to the kitchen to get some food.

I walked home slowly I stopped and picked some flowers at the park. I decided I was going to sit at a little bench by a stream and do my homework. I throughly enjoy the sound of water. I sat down and opened up my books and started on my homework. When I was finished I threw the books in my bag and walked to McDonald’s to get an ice cream. I walked home and ate it on the way. I sat on the couch and watched tv.

By the time Kayla got home, I was done with making myself food. I went over to her and sat beside her. "I feel bad for Max." I said to her. I started to eat my food while watching tv. I heard someone in the kitchen, I turned to look and saw Max getting something before he disappeared in thin air.

“Same... but that’s what happens when you help the master... the master is the leader of the agency by the way...” I mumbled as I set my head on your shoulder.

I huffed and sighed before placing my food down on the table. "He isn't the master or leader or whatever of the agency." I looked at her, getting tired of hearing Max be called that. "He doesn't even work for them." I said as well. I started to feel even worse for Max.

“I’m not saying Max is!!!” I said standing up defensively. I grabbed my neck in pain as the mark burned and sent waves of pain throughout my neck. “Damn Damn Damn!!!” I Yelled loudly. It was the work of the stone that Max gave to the Master. I cried from intense pain. I glared at you before disappearing in a cloud of black smoke.

Seeing Kayla disappear, I felt guilty of that. I sighed and hugged my legs close to me before tearing up. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't even sure how to save Kayla. I got up after a few minutes and went up to my room, locking myself in there. I laid under the covers and hugged my knees.

I found myself in a dark house deep within a dark forest. I shivered at the cold air biting my skin. I rubbed my shoulders in an effort to get warm. I stood up and walked around. I screamed as rats scrambled over my toes. Then I felt a baseball bat hit my back and I fell over and blacked out.

Max walked out of his bedroom to come check up on me. I told him I am fine and that I needed some peace and quiet. Max sighed and left the room to go down stairs to get something else to eat. He got himself some ice cream and then ran back upstairs and got onto his computer.

I awoke slowly and saw I had burns and cuts all over me. I groaned and looked up to see jeering men all around me with fire and knives. “What... what do you want....” I groaned. They laughed and sent me back home. I landed on the floor right before the couch.
