SageSkip is shy and often keeps to herself, she
takes time to analyze situations and develop a
detailed plan, she makes sure the plan works
and if not she will become more quiet
taking more time to plan again, even if it
takes longer it has a better result.
She wants to know everything about
every cat so she can predict their actions.
She works better under stress and can
do an amazing amount of work even if
she stays humble about it.
She's mostly introverted but secretly
enjoys company, she craves attention
but pretends not to and say's she hates
it but she loves it. She defends her
friends and family even if they're wrong.

───♛ Backstory
Ebonystar was born into the clan alongside her three other siblings. Lakeclan was having some issues with the other neighboring clans but it didn't seem to affect her life up until she became an apprentice. As her mentor was teaching her battle skills with a few other apprentices and mentors, one of the clans had attacked them with a large amount of warriors, ending up slaughtering Viperpaw, Reedpaw, and one mentor and severely injuring her and another cat. Ebonystar's scar that stretched across the side of her body had never healed up, leaving her having a constant reminder of her first bloody fight. Snowfall and Reedpaw could not handle the tragedy and feared the same would happen to them, soon leaving the clan life and converting to the comfortable and warm lifestyle as a kittypet.
Stormchaser kept close to her, however, and is one of the closest cats Ebonystar has in her life. After many moons of becoming a warrior, she was chosen to become deputy and soon became Lakeclan's newest leader.

Personality ♛───

Ebonystar is quite laid back, usually staying calm during most events and situations, at least externally. She still makes some mistakes when choosing what's best for her clan which she beats herself up for, but tries to remind herself that she only became leader two moons back and is still adjusting to the alien lifestyle. Ebonystar tries to keep her perspectives neutral on situations and attempts to avoid drama with the other clans, fearing that it would shatter her reputation. She usually forces herself to wear a straight expression and portray no emotion in her voice around strangers or warriors outside of her clan, which oddly provokes different emotions from the other cats. Despite all of this she is quite trustful and always puts her clan before her.

Sageskip awoke to the light pitter patter of rain, It would have been peaceful if it wasn't on her. She had fallen asleep with her head sticking out of the den somehow.
She angly sat up and shook her head, flicking droplets of water all over the den.
The small she-cat slipped out of the den to see if any other cats were awake.

Ebonystar sat on her nest, her golden eyes glued to the clouded outdoors. She never knew it would be this stressful becoming a large symbol in Lakeclan. Her tail twitched as she dove deeper into her own thoughts that prevented her to drift off to slumber. She had given away a sliver of their territory to Cloudclan because of how scarce prey for them was and heard some of her warriors' complaints and many wishing that Stripestar was still the leader of Lakeclan. It hurt her more than it probably should have, but of course she always turned to it playing cool and faked the confidence she portrayed publicly. Maybe she would feel more comfortable being this new rank if Reedpaw and Snowfall hadn't abandoned her.
A sigh escaped her lips before she brought herself up onto her four paws. It hurt to think about the two, especially the fact that they're now kitty pets. Did they ever love her and her father? Were they really that self-centered to leave them? Sure, she did go to secretly visit them a few times a moon but the question always stuck to her.
Ebonystar shook her head, kicking these assumptions out of her mind and rushed out towards the opening in her den. Fresh air would probably calm her down.

Sageskip sighed, her fur getting soaked dew to her lack of motivation.
The clans numbers had been dropping with afew becoming kittypets and some leaving to be part of CloudClan, her only friend and a cat who she loved dearly, Wolfclaw had also left, she felt a tight bond with him. she even wanted him to be her mate. It was even worse because she can't show her love as a medicine cat.
The she-cat frowned and looked at her paws before pushing the thoughts to the back of her head and looking up, her eyes fell on the fresh-kill pile and seeing as not may cats were awake she padded over and picked up a vole.
This time she walked over to a shaded area that would cover her from rain.
She quickly ate the vole and looked around again to catch the gaze of Eboneystar. Sageskip nodded at her in greeting Good morning she said softly before moving over so Eboneystar could sit with her.

"Good morning." She replied as she dipped her head. Must have been a coincidence that the medicine cat was awake as well, this was a good chance to catch up with their personal lives since they barely ever spoke about anything but Starclan and who is sick with what. "What are you doing up so early?" Ebonystar questioned before pulling out a rabbit from the messy pile. She hadn't got to sleep without the responsibilities of a leader harassing her, but hopefully food will give her energy to function properly.

Sageskip shrugged The rain.. she said not wanting to admit that she had stuck her head out of her den and fallen asleep. Sageskip licked her muzzle savoring the last scraps of prey knowing she possible wouldn't eat again till noon.
Why are you up so early then? she asked looking at the rain dropping onto the trees and then splashing on the now muddy ground.

"I couldn't sleep." She confessed, then taking a large bite from her breakfast. Ebonystar glanced at the puddles gradually growing and silently prayed that the dens' grounds wouldn't be moist like the ones outdoors.
She gulped down the meat before continuing. "I never thought it would be this difficult being a leader, but you never know once you're next I guess." Sageskip was one of the few people that she felt comfortable sharing her opinions and thoughts to. They were supposed to have a close bond anyways since they both have vital roles.

Sageskip nodded softly shooting Ebonystar a sympathetic gaze. She frowned studying her den and hoping it wouldn't overflow, all of the herbs would be gone and half of them don't grow in Leaf-bare. She looked at Ebonystar again
