”Hey, wait, what am I supposed to do—” Rhys is very quickly cut off by Jack vanishing. He stares for a moment or two, before sighing. ”I guess I’m just taking the long way around then.” He grumbles, looking at the map Jack’s left him with. He can’t go the way the Guardian is going without being cut off. He moves through the hallways, groaning when he finds stragglers along the way but stopping to help direct them to safety, then continuing down to where Rose is.

Despite her currently disheveled appearance, rose working as best she can at the terminal, mumbling to herself at the moment as she types. She's alittle relieved to see she has somewhat of a companion in the systems helping her out and a little message popping up saying 'help is on the way'. Thats good. A raspy cough escapes her, makes her cover her mouth and nose with he crook of her elbow. She's getting alittle dizzy and light headed, but they're almost all free.

Rhys finds Rose at her terminal, letting out a sigh of relief and glancing around to ensure no one else is around before rushing over. He places his hand under her elbow, helping her stay balanced as he started getting dizzy. “Don’t ask and just focus on the animals.” He says, opening his own interface and connecting to the systems to assist as well.

Rose is alittle surprised when rhys suddenly shows up, but offers a weak smile. "I'm just glad someone answered the distress signal. That thing came in here and started asking questions. Seemed innocent at first, asking about the vaults we knew of and such. Then it started asking questions about the rest of you. Rather invasive ones. I requested it to leave, and when it did not, i called for security and it... All it had to do was make a gesture and they were dead." She mumbled, obviously sour about this, but she does perk and smile when the last cage is unlocked and the animal goes free. Thats good.
Jack pops up soon after but he looks alittle panicky. "Rhys we gotta get outta here now!" He stated, confusing rose just a bit until the door was suddenly forced open and their Guardian Mercenary stepped in, hand lifted to silently tsk at the two/three of them.

“Shoot. That isn’t good.” Rhys hisses under his breath, turning to look at the Guardian Mercenary. He looks conflicted for a moment or two before grabbing Rose by the arm and rushing the direction he came from, pushing her first. “Keep going and don’t look back.” He says, only a little panicked, pulling his gun and turning to look at the mercenary as they go.

"Oh my god, rhys, if its anything like the watcher, not only did it just bust open those blast doors with its mind, but its going to stop those bullets. Maybe running is the best idea instead? Ya know, put those super gorgeous giraffe legs to good use?" Jack stated, quite nervous at the moment as they watched Rhys and rose until rose was going down the hall quickly. Thus a quick lunge forward, getting extremely close to rhys before vanishing all together before they could make contact with rhys.

“I just want to figure out why it’s — Oh Jesus!” Rhys pretty much screams at being lunged at, stumbling back until he realizes the guardians vanished. He looks around wildly, hands gripping the gun. “I just wanted to figure out why they’re doing this. But maybe running is a better idea.” He mumbles, and turns to rush down the hallway now.

"Yeah, especially if it seems to have something similar to zero's deception!" Jack answered, quite worried now as he began running scans to try and find where it had gone. When he does pick it up on sensors, he pales. "Rhys, its with rose, its with rose around the corner!" He stated in panic.

Rhys makes a noise. "That isn't happening. Definitely not happening. We aren't losing anyone today." He hisses, rushing forward and around the corner. “Rose!” He calls, looking between her and the Guardian before rushing forward to try and place himself between the two and protect Rose.

The Guardian currently had said CEO pinned against the wall by her neck when Rhys came running over. Thus they looked at the male siren and released her, letting her drop to the ground coughing and wheezing before taking a few steps back as rhys got between them. A few more steps back before they finally decide to turn and leave now.
