The talk of Helios is at least enough to fight away the feeling that’d stuck since he went inside the vault of the warrior. A simple reminder that Jack was here. “And once you insisted on showing me what ‘exploding heads’ look like because you got way too happy over it.”

"To be fair, you were interested to until you actually saw." Jack answered in amusement, the smallest of chuckles escaping him.

"It was disgusting and you know it.” Rhys says, kissing the side of his head and grinning. “You’re lucky I didn’t actually throw up.”

"It was hilarious." Jack retorted as Zero made a vague gesture. "Your arguement now null, You're definitely incredibly weird." Zero stated playfully, getting a small chuckle from jack. "Could of told you that zero." Jack stated.

"I told you he’s weirder than me. At least I don’t take pleasure in brains splattering.” Rhys chuckles, nuzzling Jack’s head with his own and humming.

Jack snorts a bit in amusement, but settles with the affectionate touch as Zero rolls his eyes in a playful manner.

Rhys leans back, content with the situation at the moment. Jack was alright, Zero was practically healed, and everything was okay. He could get used to the peaceful bliss it made him feel.

Zero lifts his hand to resume carding it through rhys hair while rhys had jack occupied, quite pleased and amused with this at the moment.

It takes Rhys a moment or two before Rhys remembers stuff that he should definitely be getting Jack caught up on. They had tried to let the man rest while he was in R&D, therefore didn't let him know about many situations, such as the one with Angie. Rhys glances over to where Angie is. He looks at Jack. "While you were gone, Angie threw rice all over our apartment because she thought Amitiel could turn it into glitter. So I hope you've seen how you're a terrible influence and gotten the kids to think that glitter is okay to toss around, like you would back on Helios."

"It was hilarious on helios and only on special occasons. Come on, i went out of my way to make sure it was the kind thats edible so it dissolves with water just so it wouldn't mess up your mechanical." Jack retorted with a snort of amusement while Buddy gave a small shriek, because the smaller beast had literally spent hours happily licking up all that uncooked rice. Then paid the price later by regurgitating it in the hallways.
