”You always have the best ideas.” Rhys says, sitting up and yawning a bit. He offers a sleepy smile before leaning in to kiss Zero, and crawls off him after. He gets to his feet and stretches out before heading for the bedroom, immediately changing out of his suit and into something more comfortable before flopping into bed.

Zero offers a smile and once rhys is in and settled, goes to work to try and get buddy and angie settled down and ready for bed.

Junior perks up instantly, quick to go from sitting at the far wall and observing the bed to quickly laying at rhys side of the bed, his tail wagging lightly as he shuffles forward on his belly so to nose at rhys' hanging arm/hand, then tuck his head under it and lay there contently.

Rhys feels Junior touching his hand and rubs his face gently. “I’m here, Junior. It’s okay.” He whispers, before rolling onto his side. It takes a moment or two for him to realize why he’s suddenly restless and not immediately falling asleep, and he digs through the bedside table until he’s able to pull the small bottle of pills medical gave him. He takes one as instructed before hiding it back in the child restricted drawer, and rolling onto his back as he waits for the pills to kick in.

Junior grunts softly when their face is rubbed but seems happy with it. Zero trails in after a while with a child tucked under each arm and buddy trailing behind him so to tuck the kids into their bed instead of his and rhys bed.

Rhys watches him put the kids into their bed, rolling over just a bit to watch. He makes a quiet noise once Zero’s finished, and adjusts to actually get under the blankets now and waits for Zero to come and join him. Rhys rolls his head to look at the ceiling before sitting up just a bit and patting the space next to him for Zero.

Zero first changes into something more comfortable, then moves to join rhys. Buddy trots over and seems blatantly confused on why junior's on the floor before buddy tries crawling onto the bed as well.

Rhys immediately curls up to Zero when he's joined, glancing over to watch Buddy join them in the bed as well before placing his head on Zero's chest and closing his eyes. Hopefully the closeness between the two would help fight off any nightmares that came his way, as they usually did when he slept and thus the reason why there was a lack of sleep with him in the first place — the pills medical gave him usually didn't help either, just made it impossible to wake up after falling into one of the nightmares.

Zero easily puts his arms around rhys, rubbing one of his arms and petting the top of his head to help him calm and settle down before he settled down himself and eased to sleep.

Jack isn't listening to him. Jack isn't listening to him, and now Zero's in danger, and it's all his fault. If he had just tried more, fought more, stopped to make sure Zero was okay before leaving the office. They wouldn't be in this situation. And now Jack isn't listening to him.

The door is closed and Jack won't open it. He tries, he tries to open it but it's locked, and he's panicking. He can feel the panic rise in his chest, into his throat, and he's spiralling before he even realizes it. Demanding that Jack opens the door, tears threatening to spill from his eyes, ready to scream because he's afraid.

It's Jack. It's Jack. It's Jack.

"Rhys. You're not in any state of mind to go after Zero. You'll put yourself and him in even more danger like this. You need to calm down." Jack stated as he lifted a hand so to carefully take Rhys' hand in his own and lightly pull it away from the door controls. "Come on honey, talk to me, something more then Zero is wrong here. You're not acting like yourself." He whispered.

"It's just — I'm not — you're not — you locked the door, I don't know how to get out, and, and I need to get to Zero before it's too late and something bad happens. They're gonna try to transfer us and there's nothing I can do about it. There's absolutely nothing I can do about it, and Usbeorn's gonna, he'll..." He pulls his hand from Jack's and instead places it over his side, where marks from Usbeorn's disrupted attack had lingered before the virus had locked him away in a room. "I need to get out. I need to get out, let me out!"

"Rhys, Rhys baby, Listen." Jack's hands take his own, in a familiar loving tone that just barely gets him to snap out of it. Rhys turns his head to look at him, but it isn't Jack.
It's Jack. It's Jack. It's Jack.
"Do you really think he'd ever love you, Rhysie? Like you imagine he would?"
That's not how this is supposed to go. He tries pulling his hands from Jack's Usbeorn's. "No, no, no no—"
"You're broken, cupcake. You're absolutely broken. And I'm glad to say, that's entirely my doing."
"NO!"

Rhys snaps up from the bed, chest rising and falling rapidly. Despite the warmth of Zero right beside him, he feels cold, and almost alone. His eyes shift around the room, trying to figure out what exactly had woken him up, when his eyes finally rest on a crying Junior. He's out of the bed instantly. "Junior. Junior! It's okay, it's okay!" He immediately begins to soothe, dropping by the whining beast. "I'm here, Junior. It's okay."

its been quite for a while, he doesn't hear the rustling movements of a restless rhys as he sleeps or a disgruntled zero and it makes Junior sit up. He grunts softly seeing them almost as sill as stone and tries tugging the blanket away. But buddy lays on one end, effectively keeping it in place. The beast whines softly, gets up and gives a soft yip of a noise. No response. He grunts and quickly trots to the girls room, they're to small, he can't actually see them amongst the many stuffed animals.

He whines some more and moves to the adults again. He noses at rhys.
He's laying still, he's not breathing, theres blood pooling around his owner, who's trying to keep control of the battle despite loosing so much blood. He goes quiet, someone screams. He's taken away.
Junior immediately sits down, front legs on the bed and whining a bit louder. But that still doesn't awaken rhys or Zero. His sounds get more desperate until finally junior lays down fully and begins full blown howling and crying. Because He's gone, They're gone, everyones gone, he's alone, where did everyone go? Why did they forget him? Leave him there?

Then rhys is jolting awake and his cries die to loud whines and whimpers, sitting himself up as he looks at rhys before quickly getting up so to shove himself against rhys with upset sounds, which finally awaken both Zero, and he girls, who toddle and peek out of their room confused while Zero sits up.
"Whats going on?" Zero mumbles, confused.
