"Whoa. Quick to defend, huh?" Rhys raises his hands in surrender, eyebrows lifting in fake offence. "I didn't say I didn't like it, just a surprise to see. I think it's nice." He lowers his hands and reaches over to pat Rosy in greeting.

"He's worried about how Jack will react." Vaughn states, apparently not too phased by his boyfriend's sudden defensive tone, simply adjusting the sleeves on the jacket with a shrug.
"About that." Rhys frowns, and glances over at Zero.

Timothy mumbles a bit more about how his defensiveness was 'reasonable' before rhys suddenly interrupted on their subject of jack, making him look at the two with a raised brow as Rosy made a happy noise at the patting. Thus after she got her mine-ute attention, she praddled back over to lay behind vaughn's legs.

"Vaughn. You went to the Keeper a few times, right? Talked to them about Jack?" Rhys asks, beginning to move around freely as he speaks.

Vaughn leans over to pat Rosy himself, though keeping his eyes on Rhys and the others movements with a slight frown. "Yeah. I mean, I did when you guys went up to Eden, though you don't really remember that. When he got sick, and Hyperion attacked. I had a conversation about it with the Keeper and asked how to fix it." He shrugs. "Hyperion attacked before I got my answer."

Zero just leans against the wall near the door, silent and watching just incase.

Timothy figits ever so faintly as he toys with the sleeves himself now, letting vaughn focus on the conversation instead before he moves to the kitchen, rosy quick to hop up and follow after timothy.

"What did the Keeper say about Jack? Everything you can remember." Rhys questions, and Vaughn watches Timothy leave before turning his attention back to Rhys.
"Um, jeez. I dunno, it was a long time ago. Lemme think." He states, rubbing the back of his neck as he tries to remember before snapping his fingers. "They said that Jack gave himself up to create Angie, because he thought it would make you guys happy. The Keeper mentioned that creating new life means something about giving up old life, so Jack was supposed to die at that vault and he didn't. Which has never happened before."

"Explains a lot then / his data hard to retrieve / but we had managed" Zero stated with a small nod of his head, even if his attention had went to the kitchen doorway where timothy had gone.

"They also stated he's a vessel. Something... Something about vaults being drawn to him, and that he's just always been that way." Vaughn shrugs, leaning back. "It was a while ago, Rhys. Why do you want to know now? I probably could've just told you at the time, which I um, probably should've. But I got distracted."
"We think that issues with Jack are related to the vault." Rhys states, glancing back at Zero and then to the kitchen where Timothy went.

Zero's pushing away from the door in a calm walk at first, but it does pick up when the sound of something dropping and breaking is heard. zero enters the kitchen to find timothy having dropped a full mug of hot coffee, which is spilled across the counter and floor, thus no doubtedly across his hand too, and he's cursing up a storm in a language he doesn't understand. Probably something he picked up on elpis. Thus Zero moves in rather easily. He picks up timothy and gets a loud, girlish shriek of sorts and sets the man on a clean portion of the counter before getting a clean rag, soaking it in cold water then wrapping he rag around timothy's hand, who looks extremely embarrassed now, especially when he shouts "Zero's manhandling me!" Zero just pops a very amusing smiling face.

"Hey, can you not assault my boyfriend?" Vaughn calls back, leaning over to try and see into the kitchen but it's pointless from his position. Rhys seemed too busy writing down what Vaughn told him to care, simply waving a hand toward the kitchen to tell Vaughn to check on them when the man glances back to him. So Vaughn gets up and moves to the kitchen entrance, raising a brow at the sight. "What happened?"

"I just... Burned my hand alittle on some coffee." Timothy mumbled, embarrassed quite a bit at the moment as Zero looked at Vaughn with a shrug. "Wasn't assaulting, was assisting." He answered in amusement, looking at rose who was licking up the coffee and eating the ceramic mug pieces.
