"One of them is having issues." Rhys replies, placing the now empty vial beside Jack's bedside and brushing his flesh hand through his hair with a concerned frown. "I don't know how serious it is." He adds, turning to look at Zero and the kittens now.

Zero raises a brow (even if its unseen) at this and cocks his head to the side as he puts the kitten he holds down. "What do you mean?" He questioned quite curious.

"It was crying and seemed like it was in pain. It sounded like their bones were cracking. I tried helping it to calm it down but I don’t know if it worked." Rhys explains, taking one last glance at Jack before pulling the blanket over him. He’d be okay to rest for a bit. He returns to Zero’s side, looking over the kittens until he finds the one and crouches to pet it gently. “Here.”

Zero follows and crouches beside rhys, looking at the kitten as well that seemed relatively calm to the touch, not yowling like last time. Zero tilts his head a bit at the sight. "Might be from eridium mutation." He mumbled.

"Maybe? It seems possible.” Rhys replies, rubbing his finger against the kittens cheek. "Hopefully it'll be alright. I thought about hiring an animal person for Atlas. Since... apparently pets are a thing here, now." He gives Zero a sheepish grin. "And I don't have the credentials for that stuff."

"Some specializing in beasts could prove useful for the company as well. Help improve products that would be used in homes or with people who work with or around animals. Product that'd last against them. We can ask mordecia to assist temporarily if you'd like." He answered, lightly rubbing at the smooth, slightly iridesent belly of the kitchen, which crackled slightly. Zero tilted his head as the kitten started yowling more, finally prompting caramel to grab the kitten's scruff and hurriedly run off with the kitten, abandoning two other kittens for a moment. She did come back to relocate them as well thought.

"We weren't hurting it." Rhys complains when Caramel rushes off with the kittens, though doesn't move to follow because he doesn't want the mother cat to try and attack him. "I'll look into it." He states, and stands up after a moment or two and holds his hand out to Zero. "For now, we need to figure out what's happening with Jack."

Zero nods his head as he takes rhys hand and gets up. When he mentions jack, he shrugs ever so faintly. "Maybe something finally came loose upstairs. Finally a few circuits short from a whole mother board. Again." He stated with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Don't." Rhys immediately states, raising a hand to cut Zero's sentence off short. "Don't imply that." He says, before moving back to where Jack lays and opening his interface to access his code. "He'll be fine."

Zero shakes his head greatly. "We've seen this before. Like the old one. He's going to revert." Zero stated.
