Rhys, in that moment, swore that he would die. He keeps her in the air for only a split-second longer, obviously surprised. He looks over at Zero and Jack and mouthing she called me papa! with the most excited expression until he looks back at her and puts her down. He leans forward to kiss her on the forehead, grinning ear to ear. "I've stolen enough of your attention. Go say good morning to Zero." Rhys nudges her towards the assassin, and then leans back in his chair with a goofy grin still on his face. He lips his coffee to his lips in an attempt to hide it.

Jack's trying to hide more of his amusement as Angie looks at Rhys before prattling over and sitting in Zero's lap now, who looks down at her, combs a hand through her hair and seems to kiss the top of her head as she beamed happily, takes a few things off zero's tray because it didn't look like zero was eating very much off it. Zero didn't stop her either as he flashed Rhys a smiley emoticon quite easily.

Rhys puts down his coffee and watches as Angie snakes Zero's food, and afraid she was gonna start stealing his, begins to eat. When he's finished, he goes and returns the tray and sits back down, still trying to finish off his coffee. The back of his mind was nagging him about those papers, and something was threatening to start a headache if he wasn't careful. At least he got a good sleep last night, and didn't wake up halfway from nightmares. "How long have you been awake, Jack?" He suddenly asks, curious if the other man had slept at all since his hammock had been broken.

"Yeah, that implies i even slept. And the large stack of papers on your desk should prove that i didn't. I'm also pretty sure, half of my new body is already made of coffee if thats even possible." Jack mumbled into the mug of his coffee before taking another couple large drinks of it before setting the mug down and shrugging a bit.

Rhys raises an eyebrow. "Convenient, until you pass out from lack of sleep. Seriously, Jack, you don't have to be so... Hard-working. It's weird, and you need to rest." He makes a vague hand gesture before finishing his coffee, quiet until his tongue stops burning. "Thanks for that, by the way. I really do love waking up to stacks of papers." He says, though it sounds more playful than sarcastic and he turns his empty mug over in his hands.

Jack shrugs a bit in response. "Nothing i'm not use to sweet cheeks." He stated, thought Zero didnt appear to like that nickname with the deep, low, menacing growl he produced, startling jack a bit as he straightens quite a bit. "Don't." Zero stated, making jack swallow thickly. "Yeah okay, i'll take that one out of the list." Jack mumbled as he lifted his mug to take another drink while Angie looks confused but tries to copy Zero's growl. Her's come out to high pitched, more of a squeal then a growl. But she's trying, and zero tussles the top of her head then gives her a light kiss on the head in amusement and encouragement.

Rhys breaks into a coughing fit, which is strange because he hadn't even been drinking anything. Perhaps he choked on his own spit, though Rhys couldn't see why he'd do that, because it's not like... Rhys lowers his head and covers his mouth as he coughs, trying to make himself stop before his employees begin looking at him with concern as to why he's suddenly having a coughing fit. He eventually calms down, face burning, and doesn't say or do anything except laugh weakly at Angie's replica of Zero's growl. "You keep trying that, Angie, you'll get it soon." He eventually states, leaning back when his face is back to normal.

Angie smiles at Rhys, giggling a bit because she finds Rhys sudden coughing fit and embarrassment amusing as Zero looked at Rhys and popped a question mark, silently questioning if Rhys was alright while jack remains silent, merely toying with his now empty mug at the moment before deciding to get up and get more coffee.

Rhys looks up at Zero with a look of shame, giving the assassin a sheepish smile when the question mark appears on their helmet. "It just... went down the wrong windpipe," He lies, and watches as Jack leaves momentarily to get more coffee. He looks back down at his own empty cup, and sighs. “Are you done, Z? I should get to my office.” He stands up.

Zero looks down at his own empty tray and cup. When it was finished (especially between him and angie) was a very good qurstion but he still nodded, holding angie with one arm, tray with the other, he got up to take the tray and deposit it before securing a proper hold on Angie and going to follow rhys to his office.
