Rhys already looks worried, glancing back at Buddy as Zer0 answers. "Right. You... You don't think it was a bad idea, when I brought him with us? After what happened with Jack," He looks at their hands, "I was just... I couldn't just leave him there, after they helped us. And now Hyperion is after them, and I'm really worried. I'll kill every last Hyperion worker if it means they leave him alone."

"It doesn't work! Trust us! Otherwise bandits and psycho's wouldn't be on this half of pandora!" Axton called from downstairs, making Zero roll his eyes, but finally pull his hands away so to take his helmet off with the smallest of huffs and move back into the room to set it down. Jack is staring at him near instantly.

Rhys rolls his eyes when he hears Axton, and watches as Zer0 pulls his hands away. He pouts until he sees the assassin lifts their helmet, surprised that they'd do that in front of Jack. Rhys doesn't question it, though, trailing after Zer0 like a puppy. He looks over at Jack, and there's immediate amusement in his features, his lips twitching into a smirk. It quickly changes, though, as he looks over at Zer0 and his smirk turns into an affectionate smile. He's pulled out of it, eventually, and goes to examine the tools Zer0 has spread out. "So, how much more repairing needs to be done, exactly?"

Zero shrugs near instantly because he honestly doesn't know, not to mention he isn't entirely comfortable talking with his helmet off. He merely gestures to the tools and interface still up for Rhys to look at so he could determine and all.

Rhys takes the hint easily. He pulls up a chair and sits, already diving into the interface to see how much needs to be done. He gets to work shortly after, and glances up at Jack and back to Zer0 every so often. Eventually, he rolls his eyes since Jack seems to still be staring. "If you keep your mouth open any longer, you might start drooling data." He says, though it's more of a teasing tone than an annoyed one.

Jack makes vague gestures now. "Do you?! Do you even know what they... it... HE even is?!" Jack nearly shouts as Zero waves away at jack's words and leans forward against the table so to be able to help Rhys with fixing everything up.

Rhys freezes up momentarily, and looks over at Zer0, who seems to shrug it off. He stands, crossing his arms as he stands in front of Jack. "Yeah, Jack, they're Zer0. And maybe they would've taken off their helmet earlier if they hadn't known you were gonna be an ass about it." He glances over at Zer0, then shoots Jack a glare. "So whatever he is, it isn't really a problem. He is the one who began to repair you and bring you back, and he's the one you should be thanking. Don't disrespect them like that ever again, or we're gonna have problems." He points a finger accusingly, though it only phases through Jack's chest and he pulls back immediately, looking disgusted.

"No, no, no Rhysie, darling. You don't understand. Actually, off course you don't. Rhys, he's an Eridian. You know, the things that build the guardians and Vaults and all that stuff! The species explains everything!" Jack answered, making a few vague gestures before throwing his hands out entirely while Zero just decided to ignore the two and keep his gaze fizated on the interface and holo-disk/eye to ensure it was properly fixed.

Rhys looks between the two, then crosses his arms. "So?" He's taking the information well. Sure, he freaked out upon first seeing Zer0 out of their suit and totally freaked out, but now he was practically immune to this. Nothing surprised him anymore when it came to Zer0; though it would explain the language he spoke in earlier. "Do you see Zer0 building vaults or their guardians? 'Cause I sure don't. Also, don't talk about him like he's not here. Kinda weird, if you ask me." He clicks his tongue. "Are we done now? Because I feel like we're done."

"Do you not remember anything? You're boyfriend maybe the last of his kind." He stated, standing up and off the table now. "And no, he's not building vaults, or guardians or creating beasts, but do you see how effective he is at killing. Eridian's were supposedly very efficient warriors that nearly concord the entire universe before mysteriously dying and leaving behind the guardians and the vaults and their beasts." He added in as Zero finally put his things down and sat back, hands folding on the table. "The destroyer. Appropriately named." Zero stated, silencing jack on his tangent.
