“You just woke up. Let them question you a bit more, make sure you’re actually alright. Every time I let you out early something bad happens.” Rhys’ voice falls to a whisper, and he presses his hand against Jack’s forehead before leaning forward and kissing his cheek. “I’ll stay with you if it helps.”

Jack huffs a bit but relaxes. "Yeah. Fine. You have a point. I'll stay a little longer. But they try injecting me with anything, i'm out." He answered, lifting a hand so to take hold of rhys with a faint hum.

“Sure. Reasonable enough.” Rhys shrugs, and uses his free hand to take out his echo and text Zero, despite it taking a while with only one hand. Jack is awake if you want to come and see him. It would help calm his nerves. He tosses the echo on the bed beside Jack’s leg when done and leans over to plant a proper kiss on Jack’s lips, mostly as a distraction since the employee had a now empty syringe and wanted to take some of Jack’s blood for testing.

jack grumbled softly, but seemed to relax to rhys actions, snorting a bit when he tossed his echo about practically, even if Zero typed back a 'still busy trying to find out upset daughter.' Thus jack was to distracted with rhys to notice the employee at first. Thus when stuck with the needle he hissed practically but tried not to move now while glaring slightly, grumbling ut a 'a warning would of been nice'.

“Aw, muffin.” Rhys coos, in a babying tone at Jack’s distress. “You’ll be fine.” He peppers a few kisses across his face to calm him before reaching over and taking the echo again. Do you need help?? Goggles are on the dresser :/ He sends back, and moves his hand to rub his temple in a now stressed out manner. Maybe he should go and help Zero.

We've got it, Yvette and a couple of the security people that don't terrify her are helping. Plus i doubt she'd be happy if you came looking or found her rn. ' Zero sent back near instantly.

Jack huffed then grumbled a bit.

Rhys huffs a bit at the message but puts down his echo in a calmer manner this time, and looks over at Jack. He offers a smile before looking over at the nearby employee, who was now leaving the room with a red tube that was more than a little nausea inducing. He makes a noise before looking back over at Jack, and forcing another smile. “Angie’s a bit upset with me right now. Timothy and Vaughn showed up with her and Amitiel, trying to help.”

"Oh so Angie's playing a really complicated game of hide and seek now because she's upset with you? Sound like fun, why don't you just get buddy to track her down?" He questioned in a slightly curious manner as he looked at rhys so not to focus on the practically hovering employees.

“Zero’s the one searching. Buddy can’t search because Timothy and Vaughn accidentally got him drunk.” Rhys says, shrugging as if it wasn’t a big deal. “They tried bringing him back and couldn’t, so we had to send workers down to pick them up. So he’s under supervision right now.”

Jack couldn't help but snort in amusement at this. "What ever he drank or was given must of been really strong to get a vault beast drunk. Which is a hilarious thought really. Kind of wish i could of seen that." Jack answered with a small laugh a he shook his head in amusement before something ran through his mind. "Could she of ran off to sanctuary again?" He questioned with a raised brow.
