Curii peeked over at Ren fro the corner of her eye, hoping that he remembered the movie. If he didn't, she knew he would and he would have plenty of time to ask about it so she wasn't too worried, right now she could just sit back, take notes and do her assignment. Somebody passed Ren a note while Korosensei had his back turned. It wasn't assured who did it since there were a few people nearby who could be suspects, but it was a note asking if he liked Curii as more than a friend, with two options to choose, a yes or a no (hah, stereotypical)

The paper was still blank, aside from the movie reminder. Although he had listened to the lecture the entire time, Korosensei's words just went in one ear and out the other. Ren glanced down at something that had been tossed onto his desk. A confused look crossed his face as he picked up the note and looked around, trying to figure out where it had come from. Ren unfolded the note and read the question that had been scribbled on the paper. He stared at the note for a few seconds, his eyes rereading the question over and over. Then he looked down at the "yes" and "no" options. As if he was answering that. Ren casually crumpled the note up and set it off to the side. Though the question had gotten him thinking...

Curii was oblivious to it, simply scribbling down everything she could of the notes and raising her hand to ask questions when needed. Physics seemed to be a little mix between math and science, and it didn't confuse her too much but she asked a lot of questions through the lecture, and she had to have filled at least two pages with notes. Only when those two pages were filled did she look over and realize that Ren's paper was empty, making her flinch internally.. Maybe she would just try to print out her notes and give them to him later.

Throughout the entire lecture, Ren was either tapping the pencil against the desk, staring off into space, or wishing that he could go home. At one point he started drawing random circles on his paper (since he has zero artistic ability and can't draw anything else). They were tiny dots in the corner, so if someone looked at his paper they probably wouldn't see the circles in the bottom corner. He glanced briefly at the note that had been passed to him. Did he like Curii more than a friend? He didn't think so. If the answer was a simple no, then why was he giving it so much thought? Shaking his head, Ren set the pencil down, reminding himself that he wasn't interested in romance. At least that's what he keeps telling himself.

The day passed, and since it was a bit rainy they had to do gym with Karasuma in rain-proof suits. Curii had been getting a lot better at avoiding attacks and didn't even notice really when she tossed Maehara over and onto his stomach, holding his arms behind his back. She looked up at Karasuma for approval, not thinking that maybe she was starting to hurt her classmate just a little bit while being held in this captive position. "Oh, sorry" she moved off him

It was Karasuma's turn to teach, and the whole class headed outside. Everyone was handed a rain-proof suit that could easily be slipped on over their heads. After Karasuma gave the class a few tips and demonstrations, he paired them up so they could practice against one another. Ren was partnered up with Chiba. Neither one of them really cared for fighting against each other. After just staring at each other for a few minutes, Karasuma decided to change Ren's partner to Okajima. Ren was lazy, but not lazy enough to dodge Okajima's attacks. He wasn't going to let his laziness cause him to become Okajima's personal punching bag. The entire time, Ren was dodging the punches that were being thrown at him. He never moved to attack on his own. Sure, he was just dodging because he was too lazy to fight back, but his laziness wasn't going to get him killed.

Curii watched Ren, impressed with his dodging. Surely he would have to defend eventually, right? "He's gotten so much better over the past couple months" she thought to herself, watching him, "maybe he'll play a good part in assassinating our teacher" That thought still saddened her, the thought of knowing Korosensei was dead... He was too loveable! Everyone here loved him to death, and had become so very close to him.. Nobody truly wanted to see him go, and word went around that somebody wanted to find a way to keep him around.. that kind of rumor would have either reaction, good or bad..

After the same thing for at least five minutes, Ren wondered why Okajima hadn't stopped and tried a different tactic. Either he was planning something and playing dumb, or he was flat out oblivious to the fact that nothing was going to change unless he did something different. Sighing, Ren ducked as Okajima struck out again, while kicking his foot out at the same time to kick Okajima's legs out from under him. Okajima crashed the ground as Ren glanced up at Karasuma to see what else they were supposed to be doing.

Korosensei was to be a moving target now. He was suspended to a small area and his tentacles tied together to prevent some movement, but he still had multiple other advantages. Now all the students had to take some stabs and shoots at him! Curii went to Ren, "hey, you've been getting better! I've noticed that lately" she didn't even notice her own improvements. Before coming into this class she couldn't even flip somebody like that if they let her do it on purpose!

Ren didn't bother trying to stab or shoot Korosensei. Just by watching the others attempt to land a hit on the mutant octopus, he knew that they wouldn't even be able to nick Korosensei. Ren was watching as everyone dove in to attack, Korosensei still managing to evade each and every bullet or knife. There were a few other students who were standing back and not participating. He was a bit surprised when Curii came up to him. She wasn't joining in the fun of trying to shoot Korosensei? "You have too." He had been watching her fight against Maehara while dodging all of Okajima's attacks, and he had been impressed.
