( fast food is good at times, I would recommend being the burger cook lol, you don't have to have so much human confrontation but you may be pretty rushed at times)

(A lil update on the dunkin donuts. They lied to me lmao, said they wanted to interview me then take a sharp 180 degree turn and say they weren't interested because I wanted to work evening hours but they refused to give me any other option other than getting in their to work at 4 AM. But good news is Krystals is open for evening hours and they're not too bad :p [so I'm only slightly salty] )

Curii looked around to find the yellow octopus, seeing him in conversation with the new teacher, Mizore. "Ah, there he is. be right back!" she set her own coffee on her desk and made her way to Korosensei. From there you could see her hand the boxes to the teacher, him opening them and his face growing a bright happy pink, drooling. She just made one very happy mutant octopus, his pay had been scarce lately, at least he's said so, so this was like an angel coming from heaven to bless a poor soul.

Ren handed the boxes off to Curii. With his part done, he headed to his seat and sat down. He watched as Curii went up to Korosensei and held out the boxes and coffee that she had bought for him. It was easy to tell how excited Korosensei was - his face was bright pink and he was drooling as he marvelled at the goodies inside the boxes. Sitting back in his seat, Ren waited for class to start. He wondered if Korosensei was going to share with the class or not. Either way, he had already eaten a bagel so he wasn't hungry.

(Yet another update, I got the job at Krystals c: I don't start work until probably some time next week, but once I start work I might not be on half as often as usual. And yeah plenty of work at shelters is volunteer, and that has its ups and its downs there)

To some of Curii's mild resent, he wanted to share, but luckily only 2 or 3 students just wanted a donut or a bagel so he had the rest all to himself. He also brought up that he's been keeping an eye on Curii and Ren and decided they would be 'study buddies' so their desks would be next to each others. Obviously that didn't mean they were up on each other all the time but if it came down to group work, they were automatically partnered, or if one needed help, the other was right there.

Ren drummed his fingers against the desk as he waited. He noticed that only a few students had gotten a donut or bagel from Korosensei. He felt a bit relieved. If the whole class had wanted one, then he'd only have half a donut or bagel left for himself. Maybe not even half. Ren glanced at the floor, expecting his bag to be there. He had forgotten that he left it at home. And his phone was at home too. It wasn't like he was going to die without them. Korosensei came by to inform him about the whole "study buddies" thing. Ren was fine with it, though the part about Korosensei watching them was a little weird.

(Yeeaah don't make my same mistake, my first job was in my junior year and I had to quit after so long bc my grades were failing and it was almost the end of the year. Gotta keep them grades up as much as possible and thank you, its great to be workin again)

Curii moved her stuff to the desk next to Ren's. She wasn't very tense at all about sitting with him anymore, since they were pretty close now.. She did a little wave to him as she sat down and Korosensei started the class off on physics. Everybody, by now knew a thing or two about physics since Korosensei often taught about it when he had them in mid-air or when they would have big assassination attempts, so it didn't seem so hard, however they still all needed notes and such!

Sure enough, the desk next to him was empty for Curii. Ren waved back as she came over with her stuff. To be honest, he was a little skeptical about this whole "study buddies" thing. How come they were the only ones who had been "officially" paired up? Not that Ren didn't want to be partners with Curii, he was just suspicious. There has to be some kind of motive behind this. Ren pushed the questions out of his mind, deciding that Korosensei's reasons for pairing them together didn't matter. He didn't have his bag, so he didn't have a pencil or paper to take notes on. But did he ever take notes? No. Half of the time he was doodling. Then for the other half he was either zoned out, sleeping, or just listening and staring at the wall. Even when he did take notes, he never went over them.

Curii got settled in at that desk, tucking her stuff to the side neatly and pulling out a notebook and pencil. She also offered him some paper and one of her spare pencils, just for anything he would be doing. She just thought about it, but how was Ren even doing, grade-wise? He obviously must be doing well because if he wasn't, Korosensei would be on his case as quick as light. Poor Ren would have to have personal study times with the octopus, but as once said, Korosensei pays close attention to how his students work and he observes their strengths and weaknesses in certain subjects, optimizing work to suit them well and help to strengthen them! So of course Ren was doing well.

Accepting the piece of paper, Ren smoothed the sheet out on his desk and picked up the pencil, ready to take notes over the lecture. For the first five seconds of class, Ren listened to Korosensei with his utmost attention. Then, after those five seconds were over, he was ready to crawl back in bed and go to sleep. Class just started and he was already bored and tired. Physics? Not the most fascinating thing in the world to learn about.

Curii stayed awake pretty well, she may have been tired but more than anything she just wanted to get the day through with. Tonight was the night to watch that movie, if Ren had his parents permission. He would have time to ask because her mom decided that scary movies are best to watch when its dark so it would be around 8 PM that the movie would start, so as long as he got their permission before that point and got drove over to their house, he would be fine. She'll just remind him in a bit, after all, she really didn't want to interrupt the lesson.

What was today? Thursday? The movie! He had completely forgotten about that. Since he didn't have his phone, he would have to wait until his mom got home so he could ask. Hopefully, the movie didn't start before she got home (which was around five to six usually). The hailstorm and power outage had distracted him the other night. He scribbled down a reminder on the paper Curii had given him. It simply said "movie," but that was all he needed to read in order to remember. He wasn't one of those people who wrote down every single little detail.
