"Huh?" she snapped out of the thought and looked up at him, "I was just thinking about Korosensei, and about the woman who made him a better... person" she didn't know if she should still say he's a person when he was a mutant octopus now. "He mentioned that there were feelings between them, but she's gone. He must be a really lonely guy" No wonder Korosensei loved the company of his students, he had almost nobody else except for them!

He remembered hearing something along the lines of a single woman changing Korosensei to become the weird, affectionate, big yellow mutant octopus he was today. How was one woman able to change Korosensei that much? He would never understand women. "What made you suddenly think about Korosensei and that woman?" It was a pretty random thing to suddenly start thinking about. They had just been casually walking to the bus, and then she started thinking about Korosensei's past possible love interest? There had to be something else that caused her to think about that.

"W-well.. you see.." Curii kind of wanted to surprise him.. but maybe it wouldn't surprise him. So she was quiet for a moment thinking of exactly what to say.. Well duh just tell him that the holiday is on your mind, Curii! She thought to herself. How could it be this hard? maybe she just wasn't sure he would care for Valentine's day too much.. but then again, if he knew.. what if it brought about stronger feelings?? "Okay fine. I was thinking about Valentine's day. Its just around the corner and well, Korosensei doesn't have a secret admirer, or at least I don't think so"

Valentine's Day? Ren blinked as he repeated the holiday in his mind. "Oh, you're right. I forgot about that." He totally forgot about its existence, that's what. If she hadn't told him about it he totally would've missed out on it. He never participated in any of the festivities that came with Valentine's Day. No chocolate gifting, going out with a lover, nothing. Even if he wanted to, he didn't have anyone to hang out with (hanging out with Akihiko? That was a little weird - and Akihiko had always been a ladies man so he was rarely free on that day). It was singles awareness day for him, though he could care less about the holiday. Ren quickly peeked over at Curii before looking away. Maybe this year would be different.

Curii smirked a bit, she figured he'd just forgot that holiday even existed, he didn't even have anyone to celebrate it with. But she's never had anyone either.. Some friends have shared their chocolate with her in pity but she's never had an admirer hand her a cute heart-shaped box of chocolates and ask her to be their valentine.. She has obviously fantasized about it a lot in her life and she felt like that day was never going to come back.. with Ren it might be different!

The thought of Valentine's day kind of reminded him of the chocolate factory in Italy, when the worker thought they were a couple and offered them a sample of some special chocolate. Why did people buy chocolate for their special someone on Valentine's? It didn't make sense. Why not buy them some other sort of candy or snack? He supposed a red, heart-shaped box full of delicious chocolate was romantic... to others, not so much to him. Would he do anything for Valentine's Day this year? Now that he was thinking about it, he might buy Curii a box.

Curii checked the time on her phone, about 3 more minutes. "By the way, whats your favorite kind of chocolate?" she hoped that wouldn't give her away, and even if it did she hoped that if she were to make an excuse, that he wouldn't be able to see through her and tell she was obviously planning on buying him something for Valentine's. Maybe he didn't want chocolates, she would really get him whatever kind of candy he likes the most for that special day.

He glanced over at Curii while raising his eyebrows slightly. "Anything is fine with me." He answered with a slight shrug. He didn't get on at this stop, so he didn't know what time the bus would come. "Why do you ask?" Was she thinking about buying him chocolate for Valentine's Day? That was his guess. He would have to ask her about her favorite kind of chocolate later. But he wanted the chocolate to be a surprise, so maybe he'd just buy a box of chocolate that had more than one type of chocolate.

"Just curious, you never know if you'll get some from somebody" a moment later the bus pulled up. Luckily they didn't forbid food and drinks so long as they weren't open and messy, so they were able to hold the boxes of donuts and bagels and the Styrofoam cups of coffee. "Well, we made it. Good thing these roads aren't bumpy either" going up the mountain to their school may be a slight issue though, but they would make it just fine.

He wondered who that specific "somebody" was. Ren stepped up onto the bus, careful not to lose his balance on the steps. Sitting down, Ren let the boxes sit on his lap. He still held onto the top of them just in case the bus made any sharp turns that would've caused the boxes to slide off. He nodded in agreement. The hike up the mountain would be a little difficult, but they would worry about that when they actually got there.
