"You might just have a moment" , the two boxes of donuts and bagels and the extra coffee arrived. "Depending on the distance between this café and your house. Well.. if we have any notes to take today i'll let you copy mine if you want" she only just realized that holding the two boxes and two coffees at the same time might be a difficult task and she took off a bigger bite than she could chew. "Oh boy.." the boxes weren't very big at all, each had 6 pastries in them, but still holding them without dropping or smashing them and holding two coffees would prove to be a bit hard.. "U-um.. hold on I need to ask for a bag"

While Curii was getting her order, Ren quickly walked over to the trash can to throw away the sack. Once he returned, he noticed she would have some trouble holding all the boxes and the coffee (without spilling any). "No need." He said while picking up the two boxes. They weren't heavy, it was just balancing the boxes in one hand and the two coffees in the other that made the task difficult. If he hadn't been with her, and she somehow managed to carry the boxes and coffee without a single drop escaping, he would be impressed.

"Oh! Thank you, Ren" how sweet of him. He could be so helpful and sweet when he wanted to be, and he made her blush so easily when he was like that, she carried the coffees while he carried the boxes, and they would make it to the bus stop in time. Luckily the coffees were insulated well so they wouldn't get so cold in the air, as she was sure Korosensei probably wasn't a big fan of iced coffee, and if he was she would have to remember that for another time.. "Ahh, you ready to catch the bus?"

He felt weird without his bag and phone. Hopefully there wasn't an emergency where he would have to have his mom or dad come pick him up, because he didn't know their numbers by memory. Ren followed Curii out of the cafe and to the bus stop. The bottom of the boxes were warm. "I suppose so." He said. He didn't have a really good answer to a question like that. Was he ever ready to catch the bus? Mentally, he wasn't. The bus in the mornings meant having to go to school, and he didn't enjoy school as much as others did. Although he doesn't dread going to school as much as he used to. Korosensei and Curii made it a lot more enjoyable.

Curii nudged him lightly, "lets go, we don't wanna miss it", she smiled at him before walking out, pushing the glass door open with her back and holding it open for him since she was holding the least amount of stuff. It was a bit of a walk from here to the stop and she wanted to take some careful steps so she wouldn't trip and spill the coffees, and it was nice to take a little time with Ren. She's noticed he's been enjoying her presence a lot more lately and just that thought made her feel super warm and cuddly inside!

( *gross sobbing in a corner* )

Ren followed Curii out of the cafe, quickly thanking her for holding the door open as he walked past. He was mostly silent as they walked, paying close attention to where he stepped so he didn't end up tripping and losing the boxes. "Oh, how was the storm last night?" He asked while briefly glancing over at her. "Did the power go out for you too?"

"It was scary to be honest" , she smiled nervously. "I'm lucky we had a back up generator, I have a weird sleep disability where I cant sleep in the pitch dark and silence.." both those together were complete nightmare generators and stress inducers for her. "And also lucky I had emergency heating pads.. my insects wouldn't have been able to survive otherwise" the morning wasn't too bad, the sun made it just a bit warmer so the chilly breeze was actually pretty bearable right now. She looked up at him, "how about you? Did you have a power-out?"

(Not only had I not slept, but I called the manager at my old job to ask about me coming back but she says the only hours that she has available are at the butt-crack of dawn, 5 AM and I cant do that I already struggle enough, then I log into discord to somebody being exceptionally rude and cussing me out bc I didn't unmute them in a dead server that me and my bf were moving to a new server :'D )

He stayed silent while she told him about the storm. He didn't know if they had a backup generator. They most likely didnt. He could see the bus stop ahead of them, a few people already waiting there. He nodded. "Yeah. My parents still weren't home so I just sat in the dark until I fell asleep." He didn't have a problem with sleeping in pitch black darkness, and it wasn't quiet with the constant pounding of the hail on the roof. "Luckily, I had Freckles there to keep me company."

// aww rip. :c honestly people get pissed off at the smallest things -_- and that sucks about the job xc i wish you the best in finding a good job (that doesn't require waking up at the butt-crack of dawn) //

"He must have made the eerie dark about 100 times less of psychological warfare huh?" Curii stepped over a little crack that could have tripped her if she wasn't looking, before stopping next to the road where she always did to wait for the bus. Oh how Korosensei was going to freak out over all these treats! She began to wonder a little.. Korosensei had once mentioned a woman named Aguri, who was the reason he is who he is today.. but she's deceased. Will he even have a valentine partner? Or will he sit in the sidelines just hoping somebody would give him some chocolates while everyone else is being all lovey dovey. (I can almost imagine Mizore giving him chocolates)

"Yes he did." Or the furball could've made the darkness ten times worse if he brushed by his leg or knocked something over. But Freckles had stayed right by his side the entire time so he didn't make the power outage worse. As they reached the bus stop, Ren glanced down the road, looking for any signs of the bus. And to check which street they were on. They weren't too far from his house, but he wasn't going to try to run all the way there and back to get his bag. He was way to lazy and slow for that. Ren turned to Curii, noticing the thoughtful expression on her face. "What are you thinking about?"
