Matt watched her in aww, his tail wagged as he just let her colour.

Max texted Maria and Mary and invited them and the pups over for supper, knowing it would make Alessa happy. He yawned softly, but got to making dinner, making a lasagna, so it would need time to cook.

Alessa continued to color, not even noticing Max in the slightest. She did pause when Maria messaged him back, saying that they couldn't make it because Henry, Mary's fiance, was coming home late from work. The girl flicked her tail as she watched Max.

Max looked at it, "Maybe lunch then?" he texted back in return, knowing that Alessa wanted to see them.

[Boomer]

There was a pause for a few minutes before Maria replied back to him. She said that lunch would work and she asked about where they would have lunch at. Alessa then back to coloring before looking over to Matt.

He texted her back asking if they could come over, or if he could go over there, not wanting to drag Alessa out in public right now.

[Boomer]

Maria had replied fairly quickly, saying that whatever was easiest for him and his pups would be fine. Alessa finished coloring, then began to pack up her supplies. She took everything back to her room.

Max sighed gently, he texted them back asking if they could come here, since Alessa was just home from the hospital, and he hadn't slept in the last day and didn't want to be driving.

Alessa returned to the kitchen as Maria answered Max. She said that they would be over whenever Max was ready for them. Alessa looked to Matt before turning her attention to Max. "Who are you talking to?" she asked quietly.

Max texted that they could come now if they wanted, "I am texting Maria, they are going to come for lunch." he said, giving her a soft smile, "Are you ready to make your schedule?" he asked her.

Alessa nodded as her tail began to wag. She was happy that they were stopping by for lunch. She got out a piece of scrap paper and pushed it towards Max.
