Max looked at her, "And I corrected you at the hospital, and you understood, I am not going to do more then that." he said softly as he looked at her. "You can do whatever you want Alessa." he reassured her gently before he knelt down, smiling at her softly. "I am not mad at you Alessa, you aren't in trouble, you can go colour, or have a bath, or nap, whatever you want." he said with a gentle smile as he looked at her.

[Boomer]

"I just don't get it..." she said, frowning more, "Mother would've beaten me black and blue if I raised my voice to her. Isn't that normal?" Alessa wasn't saying she wanted to be hurt to that degree, she just grew up in an environment where that was the norm. She flicked her tail nervously. "No, I can't make a decision." she stated, "It's not right. I must do what the adults tell me and simply obey."

"That isn't normal." he sad softly as he looked at her, he gave her a gentle smile, "And you are at home now, you can do whatever you want." he said gently as he looked at her."Yes, there are times when you have to listen to the adults, but now you are free to do what you want, okay?"

[Boomer]

"I don't know if I like this freedom thing very much..." she said wearily, "What if I choose the wrong thing?" Alessa glanced to Matt for a moment before looking to Max. She rocked back and forth on her heels, trying to rid herself of her anxiety. "I like schedules." she said quietly, "The hospital had one in place for me... it took a little time to get used to it, but I liked it okay."

Max smiled softly, "That's the nice thing about it Sweetie, you won't choose wrong." he said as he looked at her. "But if you want, we can make a schedule later?" he asked as he looked over at her. He smiled at her softly and ruffled her hair, "free time for ten minutes." he said warmly. He headed to the dining room and Matt looked at her, "Want to teach me how to colour like you do?" he asked softly, his ears back, "Or we can have that tea party you wanted?"

"Yes, that'd be great." she answered, feeling a bit better. Alessa walked inside, then looked to Matt. "Ten minutes won't be long enough for a tea party... I'll show you how to color and shade." she said. Alessa rushed upstairs to get her art supplies, then went to the kitchen.

Matt watched her, he followed her silently, his tail wagged a little and sat beside her, "I like colouring." he said softly

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded as she grabbed some spare paper and pencils. She didn't want Matt to use her art pencils and possibly break them. She sat down and began to sketch a tree. She cleaned up the lines, then took a few colored pencils. "Color lightly so the shading and detail can be seen." she said, gently coloring the bark of the tree. Alessa then added some shading and details to it.

Matt gasped as he watched her, "Oh my gosh, you are so amazing." he said as he looked at her, he watched her colour, she really was talented, and he didn't want to bother her by trying to colour something of his own, he wasn't very good at it.

[Boomer]

"Thank you..." she murmured, still a bit focused on her drawing. She finished the bark and colored in the tree's leaves. Alessa took her time with it, as she felt no need to rush. If she had to do something else, she'd simply return to it later. Alessa never liked to rush her artwork.
