"I am glad that went down easy." Max smiled softly, he looked over when a nurse came in with a tray of food, it was all liquids for her, soup broth, some more jello in cubes, water, and a cup of ice cream. The nurse smiled at her apologetically, "Sorry it took so long, we had a problem with a patient." she said, she pulled out an extra ice cream, "So I brought you an extra something to make up for it." she told her. She smiled at Alessa, Max, and Matt before she headed out to finish delivering food.

"Thank you ma'am." she said softly, looking to the nurse, then to the food. She couldn't wait to eat. Alessa waited for her to leave before she ate the rest of her food. She started with the jello, then drank some water before moving onto the broth. Alessa was much slower with the broth as she didn't want to burn her tongue and throat.

Max smiled as he watched, he kept Matt close, knowing the pup didn't like it here at all, but they would stay until Alessa felt better, and was abe to leave.

[Boomer]

After finishing off the broth, Alessa happily began to eat the ice cream. She then paused as she looked to Matt. "Do you want my extra ice cream?" she asked.

Matt looked at her, his ears perked up, "Really?" he asked as he looked at her, "It is your after all, and I knew you were hungry." he said softly, smiling at her.

[Boomer]

"I know, but I thought you might want some too..." she said quietly, "I don't really have another spoon, though. Unless you want to rinse this one off?" Alessa offered the ice cream cup and spoon to Matt. She was feeling full and her throat felt much better.

Max smiled happily, he looked at the pups and let Matt go so he could get the ice cream, "Thank you Alessa!" Matt said happily as he looked at her, "I can wash the spoon off." he said happily.

"You're welcome." she murmured, feeling tired from everything that went on. She shut her eyes and drifted to sleep. After about an hour or so, she woke up and slowly got out of bed. She was stable as she walked, then looked to Max. "Can we go home?" she asked quietly.

Max looked at her, "Soon, they are just finishing the paperwork I need to sign." he said softly.

Alessa sat down and looked to her IV. "I know how to take it out..." she whispered, "Can't I just save them the trouble of doing it?" The girl wanted to get home as fast as she could.
