"Okay..." she said quietly, trusting his word. Maria looked over to Matt. "Me?" she asked, "I'm okay... I stubbed my foot while I was talking to Henry. It's a bit painful." Mary knew Maria was lying, but didn't say anything. A few minutes later, Henry arrived to the room.

Matt nodded, he looked at Henry and waved, "Hi Henry." he said happily, Rainer looked at him, "Can you take the pups to the lab?" he asked softly.

Henry waved back to Matt. He looked to the others for a moment before nodding. "Sure... um, how do you get to the lab?" he asked, turning to Rainer.

Rainer nodded and gave him the directions to the lab, it wasn't that hard to get to. Once Henry had grabbed the blood and left with the pups, Rainer closed the door and looked at Mary, he went over to her side, "Mary, Max passed away." he said softly.

Henry nodded as he was given the directions. He took Alessa and Matt downstairs and to the lab. As he left, Mary simply stared at Rainer. "When did he pass?" she asked quietly, "What happened? I... he seemed perfectly fine."

"Maybe firty five minutes ago?" he said softly, "We are thinking it was a brain hemorage, but we aren't sure." he saidas he looked over at Mary, knowing this was hard.

"I don't believe it..." she whispered, "That poor boy... he already lost his mother and now his father? He's going to be heartbroken." Mary looked to Maria for a moment. "Do you want me to tell them?" she asked.

Rainer looked at her, "It will be very hard." he said softly, "We were hoping you could, I know it might be a little easier if you tell them." he said softly.

Mary nodded a little; she didn't want to, but she felt Matt would receive the news best from her. "Are you going to tell Alessa?" she asked, "I'm only asking because you're her father."
