"It is hard, but it is best to be straight forward." he said as he held her close and rubbed her back, he gently let her go and went to examine max, wanting to know what happened.
Rainer frowned as he examined Max's eyes, "Looks like it was probably a brain hemmorage, they can just happen some times, without warning." he said as he looked over at her, pulling the blanket back over Max's head. "Let's go together, I am sure Mary will help Alessa."
Maria took his paw as they walked towards the elevators. "I just... I can't believe it." she whispered, "After everything that's happened to him and Matt. Why them?"
"I can't either, and I don't know, life can be incredibly cruel sometimes. Poor Matt, what's he going to do, Max was his last surviving family, wasn't he?" he asked as he held her paw tightly.
"I think we should tell Mary first, to prepare her and see what the best way she thinks of to tel the kids, since she's probably better at that then I." he said softly.
"Maybe Henry can take them out for a little, maybe to go to the gift shop to get Mary a get well card or something." he said softly as he looked at he, stopping at the door.
