Max smiled and watched them, he played with the pups to keep them busy while they waited for Maria to come back.

[Boomer]

The girls were happy to play with Max, but paused as their mother returned. They watched her grab a black box and a towel. "The girls are being good, right?" she asked.

"Of course, they are good pups." Max said with a soft smile as he looked over at her, he was glad that she seemed to be relaxed, "Everything going well?" he asked her softly.

[Boomer]

"Of course they're good, they're mine." said Maria, shrugging some. She then nodded. "Oh yeah, everything is going good." she answered, humming a little.

He chckled softly and nodded, "Well, you are a good mom." he smiled as he watched the puppies as they played and he watched over them.

Matt worked on his homework at the kitchen table, working on his math, he liked doing it, and keeping up with it, since he liked school.

[Boomer]

Maria gave a nod as she left her room and went downstairs. She placed her things on the kitchen table before looking to Matt. "Oh, sorry, didn't know you were doing homework." she said quietly.

Matt looked up, he smiled at her, "That's okay." he said, "I can go do it in the room." He began to gather his homework up so he could get out of her way.

[Boomer]

"Mare can wait, I'm sure she'd prefer it that way." she murmured, lightly shaking her head. Maria glanced over to the papers. "What are you working on?" she asked.

"What's she waiting for?" he asked, "And I am just doing my math, we are working on BEDMAS." he said as he looked over at her.

[Boomer]

"With her having surgery, she doesn't want to fuss with her hair." she answered. Maria then looked a bit confused. "Bed-what?" she asked, taking a seat next to him.
