"I can imagine." Max said as he looked over at her, he knew it would be hard on all of them, "But she will have lots of support from her family, as well as us, so I hope that helps her." he said as he looked at the pups, smiling softly, "I remember when Matt was this little."

[Boomer]

"That's true." she said softly, nodding a little. Maria finished nursing Jacqueline and fixed her shirt. "I bet he was a cute baby." she said quietly. Maria moved the girls onto the floor so they could safely play.

"He was, but he was so small, he was a little fighter though." he sad softly as he looked at the pups, glad they were doing better.

[Boomer]

"Yeah, I think they have to be if they wanna live, y'know?" she murmured, "It's hard breathing on your own with little lungs." The girls seemed much happier now that they were clean and fed.

He nodded as he watched them, "I am just glad they are okay." he said softly as he gave them a gentle smile, they were such tough puppies.

[Boomer]

"So am I..." she said softly, getting on the floor and playing with them. The pups squealed happily as their mother played with them.

Max chuckled as he watched, "They seem very happy at least." he said warmly as he watched and listened to them.

[Boomer]

"I do my best." she said, "I love them so much." Maria continued to play with the girls; she was just as happy as the pups.

'You are a good mom." Max reassured as he looked at her, giving her a soft smile, she was so good with her pups.

[Boomer]

"I was worried at first..." murmured Maria, looking to Max, "Mare said sometimes when pups are really premature and you can't bond with them, you almost ever have a strong bond with them afterwards. She was really concerned about Cybil. Even if the mother wants to bond, sometimes the child doesn't bond with them. It's sad and sort of unnerving." Maria looked back to her girls, overjoyed that they bonded to her so easily.
