Matt looked at the door before he headed to bed, he yawned softly as he did so, he wasn't sure what to do to help her, so he was just going to get some sleep.

Alessa climbed off her bed, then packed up her belongings. She didn't want to be a bother to Max and Matt, on top of making their lives harder. She thought about going back to the hospital, since her old home burned to the ground. Alessa carried her suitcase and Scarlett out of her room, then went downstairs.

Max was with the girls in the living room, watching a movie, he looked over at Alessa, his eyes widened, "What are you doing?" he asked as he stood, looking at her.

[Boomer]

Cybil and Cynthia looked over the couch to see Alessa with her belongings. Alessa shifted her ears back a little. "I'm... troublesome and I don't want to be that way." she said quietly, "It'll be easier for everyone if I went back to the hospital. I'm sorry to make things stressful for you and for Matt."

Max looked at her, shaking his head as he stood, "No sweetheart, you aren't leaving." he said softly and walked over to her, gently taking the bag. "Alessa, you our are family now, you are not troublesome." he said softly.

[Boomer]

Alessa let him take the suitcase from her, but held onto Scarlett. "But I am troublesome..." she said quietly, "Matt said so, and he's right." She had no self esteem and no confidence.

"Sweetie, he didn't mean it like that." he said softly as he looked at her, he hugged her gently, "You are our family sweetheart, you are staying here wiith us."

"But he meant it in some way." she mumbled, "I don't mean to be bad..." Alessa simply stood there as she didn't return the hug; she had only been hugged a few times in her life.

Max looked at her, "He meant it in the way that means he didn't understand." he said softly as he looked at her, "Come on sweetie, let's go put your stuff back in your room."

Alessa nodded a little as she sighed softly. "Okay..." she whispered, "Are you sure?" The pup didn't reach for the suitcase, although she wanted it.
