Malia shook her head. "You can read and write. You are the best artist I have ever seen. You are kind. You are teaching Kiah to read and write his name. You are a good friend to him. That means a lot to me." She ran her fingers through Clarke's hair. "You have many strengths, Clarke," she told her.

”but you have even more than me. your a great medic, you can speak 2 languages, you are funny, you saved my life and probably many others lives, you treat kiah as your own son, you are a leader, you are caring and kind, you are strong and tall, you are the person i look up to.” she told her and yawned a bit.

Malia gently kissed the corner of her mouth. "I have many faults," she told her, her eyes going serious while her expression stayed relaxed. "You have not seen most of them."

”you’ve seen only a few of mine. i cry a lot, i am short, i am weak, i am not good at talking about myself, i hate being the center of attention, im not good with becoming friends with people, the list goes on forever.” she sighed. she yawned loudly and rubbed her eyes. “you deserve someone so much better than me.”

"You deserve better than me," she told her. She set Clarke down on the bed. "You are tired, Clarke. Rest." She set her hands on Clarke's shoulder and kissed her.

”im guessing this is another goodbye?” she asked softly and kissed malia back. clarke slowly laid down. “they way you’re looking at me, i know this is another goodbye so be safe, okay?”

"You too," she said, gently brushing Clarke's hair away from her face. "I will be back with crutches," she reminded her. She put her boots on and gathered her weapons, leaving the bag with medical supplies there for Clarke.

”stay with your people for a few days, i will be okay. promise me you will stay at your home for at least three days. your people need you. i promise to try to get better, okay?” she whispered.

Malia turned back to look at Clarke. "Alright, Clarke," she said, examining her gaze to make sure that this was what the Sky Girl wanted. "I will see you in a few days."
