aly grumbled and stood up. she took the handgun she had hidden under the mattress and put it in the bag before looking at alexa. "i'm ready." she murmured and sighed a bit. she still felt sick so she took her own water bottle that was next to her bed and started walking as she drank the water.

alexa quickly took a few bottles of painkillers, some bandages and more medical supplies like needles, and stitches. "good." alexa said and walked out of the infirmary. "goodbye, dauntless." she said as they walked out of the compound. "there's an old shack out in the woods that we can camp at for a while."

"okay." she murmured and held new glasses out to alexa. " you're going to need them." she murmured as she continued to walk. she put another new pair of glasses on herself. they looked stupid on her but they were the only ones she found.

alexa nodded and took the glasses from her. she put them on herself, sighing of relief when she could see properly.

a few hours later, they reached this rustic looking house which was quite a few miles away from candor. lex searched for a key under some rocks until she successfully found one. "yes!" she said happily. she stood up with the key and unlocked the house, looking around at all the furniture.

aly looked around and shrugged. "it's nice." she murmured and took off the ugly glasses. she sighed a bit as she sat down and looked at alexa. ''give me a painkiller." she murmured softly.

alexa went digging through her bag and threw a bottle of painkillers at aly. she locked the door behind her and put the key in her pocket. i'm going to see if the people who abandoned this place left anything.. useful." with that, she went to explore the house. starting with the kitchen.

she didn't find much, mainly just some canned food. but she was glad there was running water. she carefully looked over everything, stopping at what looked to be a family photo. she frowned slightly, but kept looking around.

aly took the swallowed a few painkillers before exploring herself. "i found a training room." she called out and looked at the weights and punching bag and a lot of other stuff. she found a few bedrooms that had candles all over the place in both of them.

"why.. why would there be a training room here?" alexa muttered to herself, before going up the stairs. she found the bedrooms, and decided to claim one as her own. she sighed and placed her bag down, tracing her finger along the wall.

she went into a random room and sat on the bed. she started reading a random book that she found. she sighed softly and rubbed her forehead.

alexa closed the door and sat on the bed. she laid down and sighed, looking at the roof. she eventually fell asleep, exhausted from the amount of walking they had done earlier. she was happy just to relax.
