”im not cold. im scared.” she whispered and looked down. “i can’t miss another training session.”

[lupins]

"just wrap yourself in the blanket so you don't freeze to death." alexa said before sighing and turning around. "too bad. you're missing tomorrows."

[skyprincess]

”so i get to be pushed around and teased because i wasn’t at training, great.” she murmured and frowned.

[lupins]

"that's not it. at all. i'm taking tomorrow off, too. really, it was marcuses request. he told me you were looking like absolute crap earlier. so tomorrow. you're staying here."

”but then when i go back to the room i share with all of those jerks everyone will make fun of me. oh and if i don’t go to training i’ll be factionless.”

[lupins]

"they won't make fun of you for being sick. that's not something you can control. and don't worry about being factionless. i.. i'll deal with it." she said. "and i'm going to get out of here tomorrow." she whispered, barely audible. aly probably wouldn't of been able to hear her.

"oh i get it. your leaving me to suffer on my own. thanks." she murmured and let a tear slip out of her eye.

"come along, then. but don't expect me to baby you."

”tomorrow then.” she murmured before drifting off to sleep.

alexa hadn't slept. she had packed two backpacks full of things, water, food, blankets and knives. when morning finally came around she went into the infirmary an threw one at aly. "wake up, stiff. we need to get moving before anyone wakes up." she said.

alexa had been planning to get out of here for the longest time, but she had found it difficult to leave. marcus was one of the only reasons she had stayed for so long. this place was her family. she'd find it difficult at times, considering she'd be leaving the people she grew up with. she sighed as she waited for aly to wake up, snapping back to reality.
